Gentlemen, it has been an honor Curio-ing with you tonight...

Ezra Johnston

Not ashamed to admit I teared up watching this curio. I’m going to miss these weeks. I’m sorry if I’ve offended anybody.

William Ward

This is your first chance. After this, there is no turning forward. You take the vodka & caviar - the Curio begins, you go to sleep in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the meath - you stay in New Orleans and I show you how Curious the Case becomes.

Word

It has been a privilege and pleasure to share this ever so curious case with you all.

Torby Foot

Reggies are in tha cuck chair tonight!

Zac Gallenberger

“Midway through my life I found myself in a dark forest, for the straightforward path was lost” Divine Comedy Canto 1

Freaking On It

why is camerons chair like half the height of everyone elses

Big Fuy

let's toast to old endings

essie

Again!

leah

it's so fucked up how they keep copyright striking the stremio

LunarZeta

He would brutally heightmog them otherwise

The coltergeist

Yall should do a different movie curio style, May I suggest jumper

Tvvvv

You gotta let the reggies in on this one

oops

Oh they on robert's dih in this one!

dudusmuln

I enjoyed so much !

Tvvvv

Blanche deveroux as in from Golden Girls

fat scranley

Idk if I've ever had an experience like Button before where I was watching a movie thinking the whole time about how terrible it was but then feeling so incredibly sad and sentimental when it ended

maisie

i’m gonna be batman butter for halloween

swaggoku

The 5 weeks of curio has brought me through so many highs and lows, peaks and valleys in my personal life

JL97

Michelangelo after painting the sistine chapel: „so i got a new app called vocal synth.“

Nice Great

Got the fucking chills reading the description for this post. Then I saw that it’s almost 2 hours. It’s gonna be hard letting go of Benjamin

Buddyguyman

What a long strange trip it’s been

Ben Tedesco

wonderful series. i DID enjoy your clock. if you were to attempt another curio, i would personally suggest francis ford coppola's modern classic Megalopalis

bomb.dev

"I hope you enjoyed my clap" - Patrick

Brady

Best series you guys have done, the 5 weeks have never been more back

swaggoku

the ending character outros looked like AI gen

hdx

Hate to be that guy but I'm afraid Inferno and Flame refer to the (old) professional film editing & compositing software/hardware from Autodesk rather than a nod to a secret lost scene of burning elderfolk

arti23

the curio system has somehow made this 5/10 movie feel like a 7/10

Crazy Ass White Girl

I have also been saying “seven” and “that’s very very interesting” constantly

Will Haskins

I need OJ the Alien’s experimental Benjamin Button concept album NOW!!!

bomb.dev

I was hoping we'd get to see the 7th lightning strike as a post credit scene

Mango Bat

This case was curious af. Thank you PAL, this was a unique experience

Mia

Another great 5 weeks series, it was an honor

Lyndsey Broyles

Cam's twilight idea is so good, please do You haven't offended anybody and we have enjoyed your clock 🫡

Jack Woodruff

Next five weeks will be the movie in reverse. Or in forwards… curious

Abraham Hall

As someone who didn't watch the curios but just listened to the case as a whole, I must say there was a lot of feels at the end. Well done lads.

Gavin Bustamante

Patches as Robert Smith was genuinely incredible.

James Keegan

the beginning hurts so much part of me wishes it never even ended in the last place

Devin

it's def recency bias, but I've noticed people say "curious" more often as of late. Anytime they do, I have said "curious" like Deathbed Daisy under my breath like a tic. Thank you, PAL

Day Travis

I've been saying it too much no one knows wtf I'm saying

lomomontado

From the bottom of my heart, thank you PAL for keeping it fresh and curious. These 5 weeks were an experience

Josie

I REALLY don’t know how to feel about this. I’ve never even seen Benjamin button.

Gavin Oswald

❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Normalman Regularguy

genuinely hated this series so much - feels like i wasted a month of my patreon sub. very glad its over.

Lincoln Bennett

Do you think they will even remember how to podcast normally after this

Liam

☝️ doesn't know buttons

Will Haskins

It feels almost fitting that this movie would end with the credits…

BoxCrusher8000

admittedly very sad we didnt get a verse from dr dazzle or belac. especially dr dazzle. streets are hungry

Jack

I think the only logical next step is the 5 weeks of Benalysis where you analyze each Curio Episode

Jay

The mouse scurrying! The animal

Josie

You look similar to patches 🫪

fat scranley

The episode title should've been some people know buttons because you people know Button

elijah

The curio is the greatest format to ever touch this earth

Ben Beachy

This is a good instinct but the text could still be rich enough to justify a straight up second curio-based watch with what they now know. we don’t have to go meta yet

polar

actually feels horrible there wasnt an OJ rap song featuring Dazzle and Belac for the final episode

Logan

i enjoyed the clock so much

Your High School English Teacher

for me, the biggest revelation from the five weeks is that this already 2 hr 45 min movie was clearly originally much, much longer. i wish i could see the full cut where Martin Gateau has a full scene, and we heard the line that was cut after “hey boy”.

superstar2000

I would pay extra money for a curio spinoff show

codebop

I've enjoyed these 5 weeks but I am glad that we will be returning to list based content.

chrisy

only just realized every single time they were describing a scene I was imaging Benjamin Button as Walton Goggins

Benny D

Are there no deleted scenes to review?

FUHSACHEE

Loved Caleb's self portrait

Zack

Great five weeks guys, please don’t do that again

Jack Butler

Thanks guys, you have finally broken benjamin

EJF

this is an emotional triumph ❤️

Q Goatman

swim slow af like tilda swinton's character that i forgot the name of

Q Goatman

dazzle jealous af that benjamin turned into a kid and he didnt

Enkinanna

bizarrely emotionally relevant podcasting, clearly ordained by the stars

Thorn

Here's to you Mrs. Button

Matt Hill From College

Christopher Nolan remake where Benjamin lives backwardly through time so that everyone gets younger except for him. And his name is Benjamin Nimajneb

Dylan Davis

Looked up deleted scenes of Benjamin button and you guys would love them. One is 8 minutes of just Benjamin sailing on his boat referred to as the 8-minute sail

combo

I think I need I think I need I think I need

William Ward

Amazing find - a new comparative analysis of the film has been unlocked, time to run the Curios back (forward) again

Kiran

its so sweet how much they wish the 5 weeks wouldnt end every time...and i wish it could go forever too!! fantastic stuff!!

mills

BOB CUMMINS JR. MENTIONED! HE'S THE GOAT

Carley Rose

Pat loves Caleb to the point of invention :)

Jack Woodruff

Smoke in a hospital like Caroline

Joe

I have not watched a single moment of this movie nor do I intend to but you KNOW my girlfriend has heard every last detail of this film twice a week for the past month

hailey

I think it’s entirely possible that FFC wrote Megalopolis with the curio structure in mind

Peanut Horse

Best series y’all did except for 5 weeks of planets

Alec Calanche

The curious case of Benjamin button: I AM BENJAMIN definitive edition

Andy G.

The Inferno Artists worked on the directors' cut where Fincher made the ending of The House That Jack Built, but decided to give the idea to Lars von Trier as a birthday present (:

Ian P

Top 10 Curios

jumbotortilla

Please more of this, I loved every minute of this

Hello’ve

My biggest issues with the ending of this film: 1. There's absolutely 0 Daisy getting sucked into a hurricane and going "eewherehwewhe" as she flies away 2. The most interesting Benjamin is Little Old Man Benjamin. But the 2nd most interesting one should be Old Little Kid Benjamin. Instead he's just a little kid for 5 minutes and dies

Zeebrungis

My name is Rick Brungis and I love the button

King Krunch

Started paying for the Patreon specifically because I found the Curio System™️ so compelling. Podcast About Curios would be an incredible spinoff, but I do fear its schizo factor both for myself and for the rest of us here in Benjamin’s Buttonhouse of Horrors

Adam Jensen

you can tell when Patrick has actually watched the curio when keeps spoiling it

john

spurs did mc escher intro for starting lineup because of caleb

alf magoo

Love this format. Really showcases how little Patrick contributes to the show

Alice

guys what episode is the Thomas song on I feel like I'm Buttoning (can't remember)

RandyDan The Candy King

This was an amazing ride and I pray we get 5 more magical weeks next year. I TRULY enjoyed your clock.

Elizabeth

please for the love of god watch twilight as curios

Beck

I still can't believe how well this adapted into the podcast format. From the exact moment you stumbled into this idea on the premium episode I knew that something genuinely special was going to come out of this. There is something so perfect about the relevance around Benjamin Button in particular that made this all so much funnier to me. Genuinely during a time when time is feeling a lot more like a luxury I'm taking for granted, being able to have more curios and more episodes to look forward to had made it a lot easier for me to deal with it all. I love you curious case. I love you Mr. Gato. I love you Mike Clark. I love you vodka and caviar. I grew to love you Benjamin Button. I love the Five Weeks of the Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Sam G

1:14:00 - Late comment but I work as a VFX compositor and "Flame" and "Inferno" are both Autodesk software used by VFX artists. I was literally working in Flame while listening to this episode lol
