Witch Cat & Vampire Mouse (Patreon)

Inktober is approaching and to be real, I've never successfully completed a full months work for any of the particular challenges that are floating around social media this time of year. This October will not likely be any different so I don't wanna promise more than I think I can manage.

That being said, I did want to use the month to explore a couple of characters I actually doodled last year, Witch Cat and Vampire Mouse. Here is one of my original sketches that this digital version was based on:

I'm gonna try complete a series of drawings exploring these characters and I want to keep a very simple approach. I'm doing them as very quick speedpaints so results may vary!

The inspiration of my fave Ghibli cat, Jiji is unmistakable but I hope I can express their own personality. Vampire Mouse is small but evil!

I think this will be a great way to celebrate Halloween while in lockdown :)
