Now that you've had a chance to read all of my first draft of Take My Boyfriend, I'm keen to know what you think about it.

This is the first story I've ever written when there isn't actually any sex described in the plot. Obviously sex happens - plenty of it - and there are descriptions of what the main character Hugh can hear through the wall, as well as what's happened in the past. But you will have noticed that there's no actual 'action' described in this story - no descriptions of who put what in which hole, what positions, what Steven and Hunter actually did in bed.

Lots of my stories have a bit of that kind of thing, because it's something I find a huge turn-on (from personal experience! 🥵). But usually I provide at least one scene where the cuck gets to watch the action. Not this time though.

Personally, I think it's just as hot (maybe even hotter in some circumstances) to be shut out and having to settle for just listening. But I'm keen to know if you share that opinion having read the story, or if you wanted more actual descriptions of sex.

I should warn you that the results of this poll don't necessarily mean I'll change anything in the final, even if the feedback is overwhelmingly in favour of some visual descriptions. But I'm curious, and I also don't want to leave readers feeling cheated out of what they came for. So please, let me know in the poll what you think. I do like sex scenes in stories, it’s what adds the heat. This story didn’t hit for me personally tho, the theme was too sad that I welcomed the lack of sex, which would’ve added to my sadness; but that lack of sex didn’t make the story better (again, for me personally)

Can I add a caveat here. I do think you are a great writer, I wouldn’t get the feelings I do when I read your stories if you weren’t. I’m just very fussy on my personal tastes when it comes to cuck stories…..lol

I loved the story. We need a bit more harshness when it comes to writing as there are countless cuck stories that end with a ‘all is well and it worked out!’ And not enough ‘things don’t always go according to plan’ and it’s a necessary topic to write. Preferences are preferences.

I feel like most of what I read these days is cheating and betrayal tropes, where are you reading all these happy ending stories? Please tell me so I can read them! Haha

I thought it was actually really hot without the sex!! Should def do this again, sex scenes are kinda monotonous and are a dime a dozen. Also, the harsher the better! Wish there was another chapter, like a year later or something

Usually I prefer actual sex scenes because I want to see it, and it feels like, if the cuck is never involved, then it's not really cucking; it's just cheating. But as the premise was that we'd never see actual sex, this was very hot. One note: it'd be hot if, at the end, when he's thinking about how this probably won't work out long-term, he mentions how, when it's over, he'll just find another boyfriend for Hunter to steal. Just to show that he's completely locked in this dynamic).
