Well, that's the weekend done and dusted, hope y'all had a good one. Here's another three hours of the two of us waffling on, mostly about what we've been watching and playing for the past month. Whether this is a good thing or not, you decide.Oh, by the way, the Cane and Rinse merch store is now open once again - so please feel free to take a look (link via site). If you're interested in anything there'll be a couple of upcoming offers - a 15% discount from the 11th - 16th May and free standard delivery from the 22nd to the 26th May, so bear this in mind.

Godzilla Minus One is on the schedule for tonight. Finally found a good way to watch it in Canada. Thanks for the reminder guys!

For the record, I would definitely buy a Cane and Rinse Matryoshka doll set! 😁

Hello! Thanks so much for all the great podcasts. I hope you don't mind me asking this here, but could you be tempted to add the patreon feed to Spotify?

Not saying it’s been a while since I bought something from the C&R shop but the first T-shirt I bought was a small, this one will be a large.

I listened to this one night while waiting on the aurora making an appearance over the weekend. While the northern lights were a no show, the company was welcome. If I could do it all again... I'd take chair. Corey Stoll's performance in Midnight in Paris is always is worth a revisit. I've only read the one Hemmingway book but Stoll's delivery was how the words sounded in my head. Also, if completionism is an aim on The Sopranos, is PS2 release 'Road to Respect' on the list?

I have a question regarding this monthly chat. It about movie adaptations of classic books (i.e. Dune), why did the Hobbit movies failed critically and commercially compared to the Lord of the Rings trilogy?

Christopher Walken is such an interesting guy. A fellow I went to grad school with told me the following Walken story, which I have to share here--it's thirdhand, so take it with a grain of salt. His family friend was a Hollywood writer, and Christopher Walken once called the guy up and said (in Christopher Walken voice), "Hey...ya gotta come over here. We're makin' soup." And so the guy went over to Walken's house, and it turns out Walken was having an orgy. So the question that haunted the guy was this: Did they start cooking, and then that led somehow to group sex? Or was "making soup" a disgusting euphemism? Both possibilities are disturbing in different ways.
