The summer of 1984 and Activision lights a fire under Davd Crane's butt, giving him and his team six weeks to get a computer game out to ride the hype-wave of smash hit supernatural comedy movie, Ghostbusters. 40 years later, Leon, Chris O, Chris W, Jesse and community contributors fire up unlicensed nuclear accelerators and wave P.K.E. Meters at the resulting Commodore 64 software, as well as its many conversions to other formats.Music featured in this issue:1. Ah nice, been looking forward to this one. Some of the best shows have been on really old games and this was such a favourite as a kid.

Really enjoyed this show. I liked how you explored the wider pop culture for a while, the films, cartoons, toys - there were even comics I remember buying as a kid. It's not something you really get the opportunity to do very often just because there is normally no discussion to be had around that aspect of a game, so it made for a good listen!

I played the C64 and Spectrum version of this game exhaustively as a kid and still fire it up for an hour every few years so I was really looking forward to this episode and it didn't disappoint. Thank you C&R for dedicating a show to such a small, old but arguably important game so enthusiastically. Leon sounded like he was having any even better time than normal talking about this one.
