Sit with us as we recount the recursive, multidimensional and meta tale of Alan Wake II. Parautilitarians unite with Leon, Karl (who forgot which mic to record with!) and Leah - and community correspondents - as we attempt to unfold and unpick the meshed manuscripts of Remedy's pulpy protagonist.Music featured in this issue:1. Haven't listened to the episode yet but very much looking forward to it. I was really skeptical when Alan Wake II was getting all kinds of accolades but after watching a close friend play through it (because I was too chicken to do so myself) I was honestly astounded by what the game manages to achieve in its narrative and in its wide mix of visuals. Truly a storytelling feat that I hope many more people get to experience.

Ah, shoot. I forgot to reply to the comment solicitation so I never got to let everyone know that, according to my wife who is a theatre lighting technician, the lights in Mr Door's studio are very accurate. As someone who checks the lights in every theatre level they play for accuracy this was the most exciting part of the game for them.

Halfway through listening to this episode I saw that Alan Wake II is one of October’s free PS+ games (in the US, anyway). How cool is that?! Had to stop the episode, but I’ll be back after I play the game.
