Just to jump on the discussion about price increases and modern consoles, do you guys have any opinions about the Steam Machine? Granted it hasn't been released and at the time of writing there's no cost, but as someone who pretty much exclusively plays on Steam Deck for new releases, this could be a game changer if Valve hit the correct price point. I have set up my Steam Deck to run on my TV anyway, but I would be more interested in picking this up than another console if given the choice.

Boy, Derry sure took a nosedive in the third episode. While I really enjoy the acting of the kids, that poorly visualized graveyard bike chase is one of the worst things I've ever seen in an HBO Show. Fortunately the 4th episode has a long, pretentious title, which usually means it'll be a memorable one. On the Long Walk, I really enjoyed this as well, but I also agree with Ryan Zhao of this parish, who wasn't all that keen on the graphic nature of the "gun-on-kid violence" in his Letterboxd review. For a horror fan like me, nothing beats a good bit of (practical) nastiness, but I'm not sure having teenagers' faces getting shot off in close-up is something we need in our entertainment right now. Oh my god Leon, Deep Rock Galactic is one of my favourite games of all time! So glad to hear you are enjoying it 😁 this was my big game during the various lockdowns. Me and a few friends must have put dozens - nay - hundreds of hours into it, delving in the mines and smashing giant alien bugs never stopped being fun. It was a great way to blow off steam and stay in touch with friends during those crazy times and I’ll always be very fond of those memories.
