In this podcast we return to the Maniac Mansion for beloved follow-up, Day of the Tentacle. Love this game, look forward to listening tomorrow!

Good show. The pace was great and everyone's enthusiasm for the game made this an easy listen. I did start this game many years ago and I forgot why I never finished it, until the talk of transporting items through time came up. That would definitely be a "can't be arsed with this" moment for me. Maybe I'll give it another look in the future.

Great show as usual! Taking about hints without a direct walkthrough reminded me - there's a brilliant website, Universal Hint System. It's been going for decades at this point and has barely changed since I first used it in the early 2000s. Rather than direct solutions there are tiered gentle nudges in the right direction until you click through all the hints and they basically tell you the answer. There are 100s (if not thousands) of games on there. Here's the specific page for Day Of The Tentacle, if anyone's interested: https://www.uhs-hints.com/uhsweb/dott
