In the third of our series of single format console special podcasts, Leon, James and Leah stock up on AA batteries and fire up their Nintendo Game Boy handhelds for one last T-spin around the Tetris block. Along with contributions from similarly nostalgic members of the Cane and Rinse community, we explore the strengths and weaknesses of both the hardware itself and the machine's huge software library, as well as picking up a few fun facts and figures along the way.Music used in this podcast:1. Been looking forward to this one as it was my first ever handheld. Thank you for your amazing output. I can't wait to spend even more time with you all in 2019.

This one is going to stir some happy memories. My walk is going to fly by today! Thank you guys!

That was a magnificent listen. Felt strange hearing Leah not doing her Ashley impression after all those Resi pods. This episode really spoke to me as the GB was my first proper gaming machine after the Atari 2600 jnr. Forgot about the mad peripherals, too!

I can't get enough Cane and Rinse, so I became a patron so that I could get it earlier!

Fantastic episode! The first Gameboy I ever received was made of cardboard, because my folks took unusual joy in coming up with new ways to bait and switch their five-year old--not unlike Charlie Brown and the football. Today, I have a small, colorful collection of Gameboy pockets...I wonder what a psychologist would have to say about that :-)
