Loved it. Amazing episode thanks for all your hard work.

Thank you James. Obviously there was still so much more we could have talked about and said, but we hope that we got our feelings across.

Really enjoyed this episode and I think BOTW sits as one of the all-time greats. Another podcast I listened to mentioned this (it may have been SBFP?), but BOTW also reminds me of that really exciting era when the Switch had just released, and excitement for the game and this new system with an interesting gimmick had reached a maximum, and it seemed like people were happy with Nintendo and with gaming again. Anyone looking for more "if you can see it, you can go there" pleasure should check out Xenoblade Chronicles X, as that game still sits among the exploration-as-reward royalty for me. That game has many, many, many more complex systems to unravel and a much harsher world to traverse (and isn't afraid of killing you many times over to remind you.) The only thing I thought was missing from the discussion was that you can look at the Zora's Domain quest as one of the final extensions of the Plateau tutorial. After spending an hour or two encouraging you to climb everything and then jump off of everything, the game then forces endless rain on you to encourage you to learn how to follow the game's roads and winding paths. I've heard from other players that if you actually utilize the road system in the game (horse or no horse), the layout of the overall map and how intuitive it is to get from one place to another really stands out- as long as you can avoid being distracted by going over "that hill over there." That's enough from me for now. Excellent work as always and I always look forward to your discussions.
