Back aboard Ubisoft's titanic franchise for a return journey to the heady times when the new generation was on the horizon. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was the first game in the series for PS4 and Xbox One, as well as the penultimate one for 360 and PS3. Leon, Brian, Karl and returning castaway Ryan Hamann look back on their time as the scourges of the Caribbean, with contributions from the community helping to sum up the sprawling adventure, both inside and outside of the Animus. Music used in this issue: 1. Main Theme by Brian Tyler  2. Randy Dandy-O (traditional) Cane and Rinse 386 was edited by Ryan Hamann

I don’t know if Assassins Creed 4 is my favorite of the series but to me it is certainly the most fun I had with the series and that statement is still true today. I got this game on launch day and when I started this game got its hooks in me in the way that I dang near completed everything in this game. The world felt so inviting to be in that I just loved being in the world. I could be doing story or just side stuff it always meant I had fun regardless of what I was doing. I picked my first copy up on PS3 and my memory says there weren’t really any weather effects then I got it on PS4 and wow, the weather effects mad the world so good! Though Edward is a bit of an asshole he is a lovable asshole with a ton of personality. I would recommend this game to anyone open to an open world action/adventure game.

Ryan’s back!!! I know he never really went away as I enjoy listening to him on Sound of Play and PlayWrite but it’s great hearing him again on the main show.
