My memory of Super Mario RPG is a warm one. Even though it was my fourth or fifth RPG I had played I still found this game to be charming in just about every way. I was so excited when they announced the remake on the Switch. It is to this the day the only Nintendo game I have ever prepaid. I love how they kept the aesthetic of the original in the remake, you can tell it was made with love. I would recommend this game both the original and remake to just about anyone, newcomers and veterans for RPGs alike.

Guess I'd better get around to playing my Virtual Console copy of this, huh?
