So what do we waffle on about for over two hours this month? The answer would be Resident Evil 2, Caligula, Days Gone, Samurai films, Star Wars and answer some of the questions you folks asked some time ago, oh, and whether or not Blockbuster video had a porn section...

Great listen as always. These pods have been a constant companion while cooking, gaming and making / drinking coffees during lockdown so thank you. I seem to remember listening to the one on Florence while going for full mastery on the Marrakesh level of Hitman, for example - that was a particularly nice evening. It's a testament to Florence's quality and impact that such a lengthy and interesting conversation came out of such a little game.

RE Lucas complaining about the FF7 'spoiler' in the dying light remake made me mad. The game is 23 years old and a spoiler on one plot point shouldn't ruin a game. Like if you hold to this standard every time you talk about any plot point in any game you have to have torturous semantics that spoil the podcast. Why spoil the flow of the podcasts for the 99.9% who won't be affected. This Patreon backer wants you to ignore this really marginal 'issue'. And C&R crew, stop flagellating yourselves over this.

Loved Darren’s re-imagining of Super Monkey Ball!

Alan Wilkinson

And it's worth noting that the story of FF7 remake very much plays into people already knowing the original games story so knowing that particular plot point can't really be called a spoiler in the traditional sense.

These monthly chats with Leon and Jay are worth the Patreon donation on their own. Everything else is a bonus. 😀

Mike Bamford

Great content for my 7am dog walks! Thanks for being awesome 😘

Listening to this right now and thought I'd drop a like and a comment to let you know that I get a lot out of these monthly chats. It's also nice to hear from Jay, since he hasn't tended to be on the panel for the episodes I have listened to recently. Hope you're all doing well.

Jay going on an epic rant about how amazing Clone Wars and Filoni are made me butter my bread too hard becaus I got so excited. Good shit.
