I would love a conversational or spoiler cast, whatever you decide to do, on The Last of Us Part II. I am obsessed with this game and since Cane and Rinse has a big team I am sure there'll be plenty of different things still to discuss and more viewpoints when you do a full show on it.

I'm only part way through the Last of Us part 2, but I think what is really missing is a a series of podcasts that line up with sections in the game (ie prologue, Day1 etc). The internet seems to have rushed to produce a large number of spoilercasts for the whole game, but I think the games structure would really lends itself to a more episodic approach (more like TV podcasts). I don't want to rush through the game just to join the conversation, but it'd be great to have something to listen to which covered chunks of the game as I finished them. Each section seems to bring new mechanics, new story etc, so I'd have thought there would be plenty to talk about.

Cane and Rinse

It could be fun but we really don’t have the capacity for yet another series of podcasts, unfortunately! Perhaps someone somewhere is making such a show..?

Yes I understand, was more of a plea to the ether than something I could really hope C&R would be able to do, especially at short notice. Just would be nice to share the TLOU2 experience with others as it is happening and I don't dare venture into the general internet for that for fear of spoilers.

You should check out the official The Last of Us podcast hosted by Christian Spicer, it takes listeners through the journey of The Last of Us and the making of the highly anticipated The Last of Us Part II. Featuring writer and creative director Neil Druckmann and stars Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, as well as other talents and visionaries who brought the games to life.

Hey chaps, excellent monthly chat as usual. Couple of things came to mind while I was listening. Firstly, you were discussing people who don't want to spend time with bad people in their entertainment. In my case I have no problem watching people do bad things in films because I am watching them in the 3rd person. When it comes to games though I have to inhabit that person and perform their actions, which for me is totally different. Case in point, I had to stop playing GTAV because I just couldn't bring myself to play someone as fundamentally evil as Trevor. The second point was when you were discussing spoilers. Just wanted to say I'm totally with Jay when it comes to this, I just couldn't care less about plot points. For me it's all about how the plot plays out, not so much what happens but more how it happens. That being said, I'd be well up for a LOU2 spoilercast! Keep up the excellent work. P.S. you had discussed game settings preferences at the end. I have an Xbox One X and I had to laugh as you were talking because I thought 'I should really upgrade my TV to a 4K set' followed by 'Oh wait, I'm playing Banjo Kazooie on the current world's most powerful console, so maybe not'. :-)

It would be fun to have the Spoilercast to hear how your thoughts change when you make the official show. Also, more than any game I’ve ever played it’s helpful to hear from people I respect as I process what I experienced.

A TLOU Part II spoilercast would be brilliant. You can really only get into the depths of this brilliant art by being able to discuss all the elements of the story. Hope you have the time to pull one off in the future..

Excellent listen as usual. A spoilercast on TLOU2 would be very warmly received. The game had something of a profound effect on me even though it left me dissatisfied. I look forward to hearing your perspectives.

Thanks for the recommendations, I will check them out. Another one I found that half fits the bill is The "Player One Podcast" Ep 712 which has a partial spoiler cast "Up to the very beginning of Day 3". I really need to finish this game though I think I still have a lot to go.
