I picked this game up in a recent Steam sale, so the timing of this podcast couldn't have been more perfect for me. I enjoyed the discussion about how historically accurate Obra Dinn is and how this can help with the solutions to some of the puzzles. I was also interested to hear that almost all of the panel played this as a co-op experience; which is something that didn't cross my mind, but I'd like to it try out next time. As some mild criticism of the game, I would agree with the listener who said that the graphics sometimes made it difficult to see what was happening. While this is likely intentional, it added an element of frustration and time wasting. But I was so impressed by how this game challenged your detective skills without resorting to "give item A to person B", and so on, that I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. I look forward to Lucas Pope's next project.

A Great Show as always. Games of the puzzle genre are not usually the kind of games that catch my interest when i see them out in the wild, but even so it was interesting to hear the guys talk about their experiences with the game. It was also nice to hear how for some of them that experience was heightened by playing the game side by side with someone else. I'm glad that games of a more inquisitive nature like these exist as they introduce both variety and an opportunity to learn something new about a subject that you might have brushed off beforehand.
