I've been a switch owner since 2017 and I just picked up Mario Kart 8 this week. So that's it, all Switch owners have Mario Kart now. They can bundle something else with the Switch this holiday season

I generally enjoy Mario Kart 8, but to me it feels less like a racing game and more like I'm on a rollercoaster. Every track seems to want to do underwater bits and loop-de-loops and gliding sections, and the actual racing takes a back seat. Maybe it's just me being old-fashioned, but it just gets a bit too flashy for its own good sometimes.

I really dislike the antigravity stuff, I just want pure kart racing. Looking forward to all the extra tracks they are putting out though, don’t mind the quality, just nice to have new tracks.
