In addition to the original podcast on Naughty Dog‘s critically acclaimed The Last of Us recorded back in 2014, Leon and Jay sat down and recorded an additional section that focuses on the recent remake, The Last of Us Part I, released in 2022.The new section can be found after the original recording at the two hour mark.Music used in this issue:

Lovely update to the episode. Watched the tv show on Monday and I’m hooked back into this world and now want to pick this up to play along. It’s been since 2015 since I played the remaster and I’ve forgotten most of the story besides the main points. Also, if I get really wrapped up in it might carry on with a part 2 replay like Jay did.

Listened to this on a big drive today, was nice to revisit the game and hear the new stuff. And yes, for the record, I'd have absolutely saved Ellie and damned the rest of the world. Is humanity at large worth saving? Hmmm. Not so sure! Nice to hear Jay on a show too!

Really enjoyed listening to the old show and hearing your thoughts on the remaster. When i heard Leon dipped into the dark side and went trolling on twitter due to his thoughts on Joel i couldnt help but giggle. We all have that one thing we are itching to troll over.

Really great episode. So interesting listening to the older episode before the current thoughts on the PS5 version. I was stuck on exactly the same optional conversation as Jay, had to reload that section several times before it worked. I’m all for Platinums not needing the hardest difficulty settings. The trophy list could always show you platinumed it on grounded whereas I’ll have done it on easy, but I was still able to do it. Look forward to more of these episodes in the future. Thanks.
