Not before time, a Vanillaware game finds itself under the Cane and Rinse microscope. Leon, Brian, Leah and Michiel party up in order to brawl with a D&D-inspired menagerie of monsters on their quest for the titular headwear. Along with vital contributions from form and Patreon, we of course get into the game's striking art style, music and gameplay.Music featured in this issue:1. Dragon's Crown by Hitoshi Sakimoto2. Oh wow, in the few hours since I posted this it's gone in the sale, down from £9.99 to £1.99! Amazing!

Cool, I added to my wishlist when I spotted it then grabbed it a few hours later when it went in the sale! Played about half the first game so far and it's pretty fun.

I think Dragons Crown is good, dumb fun. It reminds me of older beat em up games so of course I love it. The art style is unique, even amongst Vanillaware’s other games, the gameplay is solid, and the soundtrack is decent. I always play as the sorceress, she reminds me of my wife (who also plays as the sorceress). What can I say I love her huge….tracts of land.😂 All in all I would recommend this game to anyone that enjoys a good beat em up game. I’m so happy I finally joined Patreon for the longer discussions on the pod! Keep up the great work!
