Dammit, meant to play this before the show was recorded and forgot. Had it installed on my phone for months and never even opened the app. It's free for mobile via Netflix, if anyone is interested.

Thanks to all the panel and the contributors for sharing with us for this podcast. I know it can be tough to do. I have always wanted to pick up this game, and after listening to the discussion I’m kind of glad I didn’t. The idea of a game about end of life lasting 30-60hrs just seems excessive, and the described gameplay sounds extremely unappealing to me outside of the platforming. I worked for a time in palliative care in various capacities. I have a lot of friends and family who still do. Any game (or film, show, or book for that matter) that wants to tackle subject matter like this better come out strong and hit it out of the park if they’re going to tackle it as a subject. Sounds like this game occasionally succeeds, but often misses the mark whether through annoying mechanics or poor writing. Still, it lent itself to what felt like one of the best discussions so far this year alongside Oregon Trail’s episode. I’d say more, but I’ve already rambled too much.

A great discussion and full of very honest emotions. I myself lost my dad when I was 14 so a lot of this hit home. Thanks to all involved for a memorable episode.
