If you're fans of Thomassin Mckenzie, I'd really recommend Leave no Trace, it's one of her earlier roles. It's an indie movie with Ben Foster and it's incredible.

Cane and Rinse

[Leon] It's been on my 'must watch' list since before it came out...

Currently listening to this pod while grinding out some late game side quests in Xenoblade Chronicles Difinitive Ed. Beautiful stuff 👌

Was inspired to give it a bash after listening to the C+R episode. Looking forward to listening again once it's wrapped up!

Just wanted to pop in and say I've been going back and listening to the Sound of Play series, and it's been a blast. I don't really ever do this with podcasts, so it's also a really strange experience listening to something from 8 years ago, but I just missed the show so much. I really appreciate all the work that goes into everything Cane and Rinse does.

Same here, its an absolute delight isn't it?

I’d definitely recommend watching Star Wars: Rebels. I enjoyed it much more than the Clone Wars series. I felt it had a lot more heart to it and a more interesting groups of characters. Also, there were some huge moments featuring big Star Wars characters that I won’t spoil here but they were pretty important cannon wise. On another note I bloody loved Moviedrome. I was at senior school when it was on and I have great memories of staying up late and watching some amazing films introduced by the excellent Alex Cox. Thanks for all the pods. Hope you’re all doing well.

Sorry me again. Forgot to say I’m very pleased that Disney has chosen to release their shows like the Mandalorian on Blu-ray. As a big Star Wars fan I wasn’t looking forward to renting these shows forever, via subscription.

Have a combined 12 hours of driving today and tomorrow, what a great time to catch up on these. Not only do I get to pay to listen to you guys, I also get paid to do nothing but listen to you guys 🔥 Happy to hear Jay liked One Piece. I’ve never been particularly interested in the anime so I wasn’t gonna watch this either, but as it goes with a lot of these shows my fiancée started watching it and I kind of got dragged into it. Absolutely loved it. Got so much heart and is just a genuinely good time. Surprisingly emotional too. Think you would definitely enjoy it Leon! Cheers guys 😁

Also, Jay, since you brought up the TMNT movie, have you seen the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie one? The art style is quite different but the animation is great and the story was surprisingly strong imo. Big recommend!

Hi. I finally made it to the end of the '2019 in Review' episodes. Just wanted to say a massive belated thank you to Ryan and the other contributors. In some ways 2019 feels like it wasn't long ago but it also feels like a million years ago. Those episodes work great as a time capsule covering the state of gaming back then. Also enjoyed the discussion of "Ringpiece Adventure". Thanks again and please keep up the good work folks.

Magnus Berg

Yeah, I haven’t actually seen the show even.

Just wanted to say I don’t think I’ve heard Darren on a C&R podcast in awhile and he is missed.
