Did you know that every hour, 38.5 tons of baked beans are eaten in Britain? You did!Well, aren't you quite the little smarty pants then! Well, we don't happen to mention beans at all during this monthly so I guess all that bean-based knowledge you've accumulated was all for nought. We were simply too busy yapping about horror films stuffed with paranoia, gangsters with cool accents and a whole bunch of videogames.Who knows, maybe next month we'll discuss beans... or maybe not.Enjoy.

How do we know the description isn’t a fake out and the whole Podcast is about beans?

The notification, Cane and Rinse Exclusive monthly podcast brings a little joy into my life.

On the indy conversation. As a Glaswegian, they did shoot the parade sequence in Glasgow for a fair amount of time. Additionally, many of the New York exterior sequences are all Glasgow. However, as Jay says. They have adding CG everywhere so all the good work of shooting on location is all undone. As well as Color grading the crap out of it.

Leon - The White Lotus is the ultimate one of those "you must never skip the intro" shows.

Come on lads, I thought you were men of culture. Yet one of you has never watched True Detective (maybe the best first season of any show, ever) and the other flat out refuses to watch The Wire (the greatest show of all time). Sort it out! Leon's comment of maybe it's like porn and they make them look bigger blindsided me in a busy supermarket, so we'll done. Was there any edit there? As it sounds like there were attempts of holding back laughter in the next minute or so.

Disagree with your views on physical media. Even though I do digital I'm aligned with occasional contributor John Linneman. Sony recently summarily removing digital shows from libraries shows its a long term rental.

Cane and Rinse

As we recall we both said some positive and negative things. Neither of us is vehemently for a 100% digital future, and both of us play a lot of physical games. There are plenty of pros and cons with both, but for Cane and Rinse, long-term preservation is key, whatever form that takes.

I've been 90% digital for the PS4, Switch and, obviously XBbox Series S, but for whatever reason, not sure why, since getting PS5 for Christmas I've been buying physical games. I think it's two fold, first they're normally cheaper and can buy second hand, but second, it's often cheaper to buy the PS4 disc from CEX and pay a tenner to upgrade to PS5 version (sometimes free). Picked up Uncharted 4 for a fiver from CEX last weekend and paid a tenner to upgrade to the PS5 versions of U4 and Lost Legacy which was good. The digital version of the PS5 package costs over £40 not in the sale. Mind you, with current consoles the disc ultimately acts as nothing more than a verification key I suppose as the entire game has to be downloaded which is a pain with such a small hard drive on the PS5.

God that was a lot of waffle 😆

Such a shame how bad season 4 of True Detective got. I had such high hopes from episode one and it just went downhill from there. Terrible writing and pacing. Great acting though and it's entertaining to say the least. If you haven't seen season 1, go watch that ASAP. One of the best pieces of fiction of all time. Season 3 is also worth a watch.
