I think I was probably too sparse with my WIP updates on the last project. Here are some foundational shots for Panam. Even though I want to bring back the scope to something more manageable around 1 minute in length, I still can't help but make the animation itself a little more ambitious. The idea for this is to have two different poses all in one shot including the transition. It's easily the most complex kind of animation I've done. I like the challenge of trying something different though while not feeling overwhelmed by the length of the project.

The riding and most of the transition are actually nearly done. I'm using a real reference so it's not been too difficult to replicate. A tricky part I didn't really anticipate is making it work within the confines of the truck. It's a pretty tight space. It wasn't a big deal for the initial riding loop, but suddenly it really limited the space needed for the pose switch. It probably also doesn't help that the dash of her truck is huge, so I've had to edit it back a lot. I think I've finally got it all set up in a way that both scene will work together now. I mostly just have some cleanup and polish left there. After that, it's gonna be a HJ/BJ finish. I might also do a quick intro. That roughly puts this at half way complete, but I would say easily the hardest part is already done.
