Mom had a seizure while walking down the stairs and she fell. We are waiting for an ambulance to come and get her.

I am having a panic attack right now.

I will be posting a chapter after she’s settled in the emergency room.

————-

I know I’m going to lose her eventually due to this, not today, but I know that day is coming closer and closer each day that passes by, and I thought that by now I would have a better grip on it, but I still feel like a fucking kid every time I am reminded of her imminent result.

One year ago, on March 2025, they told us she had between 12-18 months of life expectancy. And it’s been 13 months since.

I don’t want to lose her, yet I am powerless to stop the inevitable, an spectator to my reality.

————-

Update:

The tumor is growing, it doubled it size since the last MRI, which was done 4 days ago. The doctors are talking about how to move forward.

I think feeling powerless is the worse feeling anyone could experience. The inability to do anything to change what you so desperately want to change, it’s like being in a gilded cage, where you are only free to do nothing.

Do whatever you need to, I dont think any resonable person will begrudge any time you need.

I’m sorry that you’re having to deal with this. Don’t even stress worrying about posting just spend as much time as you can with her.

Focus on your family first, take ypur time, I wish her a speedy recovery.

I can't imagine the pain that you and your family are going through at the moment... I can only wish you all the strength, and all the courage. Take all the time you need, be there for those you care for . Everything else is utterly irrelevant at the moment.

Logical one

I’m so sorry corn just like told you on discord when we lost my grandma it was the hardest day of our lives I was out with my dad and my brother when we got the call to rush over there had been worst feeling she had been battling breast cancer for the second time one day she fell asleep and never woke up I remember I had to hold my mother back from shaking the bed calling out for her mother I had to go but when my mom got back all I could do was hold her ( shit man I’m tearing up so fucking badly I miss my grandma) so we understand corn you don’t have to post a chapter if you don’t want to but we are their for you bro.

Rip. Well wishes that she can still spend enough time around ya. 🙏 Hope she pulls through. 😔

Be brave and remember, you are not alone. I read this somewhere: With loved ones, you multiply joy and divide pain. Or something similar to this.

My uncle, he was my friends father but pretty much an uncle to me, had colorectal cancer, he was told that he would die of old age before it would get him, he died 2 weeks after his wife of kidney problems that had nothing to do with his cancer. I am just trying to say that while medicine has advanced and our understanding of the body has grown, no one knows everything. Keep Fighting and maybe you can get another 5 years if your lucky, an extra day is an extra day, if its worth fighting for it then do it and never regret the time you do get. All my best wishes Corn.

How’s mom doing?
