Purchase Nectar From Wine Buckets and Racks (Updated 4/10/24) (Patreon)

This mod received a full rewrite and MAJOR UPDATE, full notes can be found here! You need this update for your purchased Nectar to be serveable.

Adds a "Purchase Nectar" interaction to the VIP Bucket from Base Game (Gold "Date" Reward), the Toasting Bucket objects (My Wedding Stories), and Nectar Racks.

If your sim is a Spellcaster, Werewolf, Vampire, or has the Nectar Know-It-All trait from the Nectar Maker aspiration, they'll be able to buy SPECIAL OCCULT NECTARS, including Vitality Nectar, at an exorbitant cost!

(Prices are with Waffle's Nectar Overhaul installed and do not reflect Vanilla prices! They are also inflated for buying secondhand, and don't represent the actual value of the Nectar.)

All nectar is "Not Yet Aged". Occult nectar is Outstanding Quality, and non-occult Nectar is simply Normal.

Nectar has limited stock, and refills after a few days. When sold out, you'll see an icon!

Nectar from all sources is more expensive than making it yourself. But Nectar Know-It-Alls also get their Nectar for 75% off! Occult Nectar is especially expensive, but you can buy and age this nectar if you want. For example, the Vitality Nectar pictured for 30k Simoleons will sell for nearly 90k if you age it! So buy two bottles, drink one, age the second, and you'll have enough money to buy another by the time you need it. Game balance is important to me, and this mod is no exception! I always balance my mods to be fair and give you gameplay opportunities and consequences!

Purchasing Nectar is instant, so you can use a bucket placed anywhere to do it.

DISCLAIMER
Due to the way the game works, when your sim becomes an associated occult or earns the Nectar Know-It-All trait, the picker may not immediately recognize their eligibility to buy special Nectar. This is not a mod error or a Core Library error, it's just how things are. You should be able to fix this by traveling or reloading the game, but it's also very unlikely to come up in the first place.

If you'd like to dismiss the significant effort it took to make this feature functional at all, you can download the ForEveryone version, which skips these tests entirely and simply lets everyone have occult nectar available at all times. I hate to say it but this is the version I'm going to use in my own game, after all that mess. :p

It is highly recommended to pair this mod with Waffle's Nectar Overhaul, which overhauls a lot of things about Nectar, including the price and value changes from aging. This mod was created with Nectar Overhaul in mind, and balance cannot be guaranteed with wacky EA Default values.

Updated 4/10- Resolved EA issue where decor tags are erroneously ignored and interaction would show up on random decor.
