Does anyone read these technical explanations?

The chicken enters a new "state" where it is supposed to walk around pecking at itself, "preening", which raises hygiene. But for some reason that I can't figure out, the chickens never actually enter this state, so the interaction doesn't have this cute extra effect. This is supposed to happen whether the interaction goes well, fails, or even is simply cancelled, but it doesn't. No idea.

This mod will max out a chicken's Hygiene if "Discuss Preening" is successful, and slightly raise it if it fails. That's all it does. It does not fix the chicken preening state issue, but you can now use this interaction to boost your chickens' hygiene if they aren't taking care of themselves properly.
