Unfortunately the game does not like when I shove the icons into interactions that have any sort of potential name overrides. This means that if ANY interaction can potentially have a new name or icon- like on talk like a pirate day, or for certain traits, or anything- this mod cannot alter its icon without causing a Last Exception error.

That also means making it function without producing an LE would mean finding every single interaction, checking them by hand to see if it has any overrides on it in any context, and excluding it by hand from the list, while then adding an icon to every single other one of them one by one, turning this mod from a simple list of about 30 nearly-identical changes into hundreds of changes. It would also mean that since many things would have icons excluded, the entire point of the mod is ruined.

As a result, the icon versions have been taken down. The original mod remains. I'm really bummed about this. I am not going to invest the time into making a version that works only for it to be partially gutted and take tons and tons of time to put together. I'm really sorry. I really wanted this mod myself too. I'm so upset that it causes an LE. Especially when it works just fine anyway.

You should remove the mod from your game as it will cause exceptions and bloat your LE error files with a now-known issue.

Sorry.

That sucks, but at least you found the cause and stuff. Thanks for letting us know!

It's a real shame. I've always found this change EA made to the interactions menu to be a piece of shit. In my case, even after removing, deleting cache, deleting localthumbcache, LE continues as if the mod was there and my pie menu doesn't appear when I click on my Sims. In any case, thanks for your time and effort (srry my bad english)

No promises, but a lesser version that ignores the ones with EA overrides involved may be coming. It'll be suboptimal but better than nothing! I don't know how many interactions have these kinds of overrides, for all I know it's actually not that many. We will see! A very special very good modder may have a technique to help me do it quick and easy. I put this as a comment because I didnt want to promise anything in the main post but I still want "Maybe!" to be listed somewhere lol.

Removing the mod? That's very strange. I cannot say my game has the same experience, removing it caused no issues. Are you sure it's gone? Or the mod's fault?

I appreciated your effort anyways!

I really don't know what happened, maybe because my game is not original this all happened even without the mod in the folder anymore. In any case, I just want you to know that I'm not blaming or anything like that, far from it, I'm sorry if it seemed

If only EA didn’t overcomplicate the game’s menu systems with every new pack/update. I’m not playing the game right now, but I remember it taking a lot of time to select interactions. Or ones meant for occults would pop up even when occult sims weren’t present.
