I just spent a day and a half completely updating my mods (A good idea even if it wasn't the problem). I redownloaded EVERYTHING. I checked the update dates on EVERYTHING. To solve the problem in the first clip in this video.

Turns out the issue was my PCs uptime of 18 days. Did you know putting a PC to sleep doesnt refresh its brain? You have to actually restart it. The second clip is after a simple restart of my PC.

I have been building my own PC for 21 years. This is the first im hearing of this. I feel sooooo dumb. I was sure this was a mod issue, an EA issue, A MY MODS THAT I MADE issue. Nope, just had to restart my frickin computer.

Oh man, this is one of those few moments that make me happy that I started my gaming time out on laptops. I always turned them off fully (changed the Windows setting etc, cuz normal "turn off" doesn't actually turn them off fully!!). And that transferred to my PC now haha. But yes very good reminder to folk who don't restart / actually turn off their PC often. Or phones for that matter!!!!!

Everything works better if we disconnect for awhile. Even people. 🥰 Honest mistake, but I'm glad that you figured it out! This is why my school district force shuts down teacher computers every night at 11 pm whether we want them to or not. 😂 Otherwise, there would be some souls out there with up time of 5+ years. 😂

Unfortunately I had done this when I got to the testing phase and it didn't help my pie menu lag at all so I just have to deal with it.

lol I've been telling my husband this for years and he doesn't believe me...

I always restart, about ounce a week. Things run much better after a refresh.

I spent a day updating my mods and man it was time consuming, but worth it. Thank you for the advice I'll restart my computer today, I really didn't think about that.

Back in the days you not only had to restart but also leave it turned off for 30 sec or so to make sure you emptied the entire RAM before rebooting.
