What do you think about the ocassional text post like this, just like a little opinion article? They will not give you a notification of any kind (or shouldn't. Please let me know if this gave you a notification.). On Social Media I tend to have a habit of writing long threads. I thought it might be fun to do a blog post every so often. Let me know what you think about that.

Each world is a smaller scale area with limited scope and theming, with an outer background area that is inaccessible. Many homes and buildings in each area are inaccessible- much like in real life, honestly- and the bulk of them are decoration. The playable area has a few small features in it, but the bulk of the gameplay is on the lots. When traveling between lots, there is a loading screen. Only one lot is loaded at a time.

Inzoi has a closed world system.

Many homes and buildings in each area are inaccessible- much like in real life, honestly- and the bulk of them are decoration. The playable area has a few small features in it, but the bulk of the gameplay is on the lots. When traveling between lots, without walking or driving there, there is a loading screen. Loading and unloading lots happens in real time, much like The Sims 3, but the world itself is still closed and largely comprised of decoration.

Y'all, I am already so tired of people calling Inzoi "Open World".

Here's someone on reddit making what Sims 4 shows is a very reasonable request- for the game's world to feature more areas and area diversity. This world in Sims 4 would probably, almost certainly, have another two neighborhoods- one more historic, and one more secluded.

The comments were instantly hateful and refused to accept even the most basic criticism of "Perhaps Inzoi's closed worlds should feature more diversity to them, the same way Sims 4's closed worlds do".

Why do these kinds of games develop communities of insufferable people?

I don't plan to make it a habit to make posts like this but the one from the other day had a big and active reception and conversation and I thought that was kind of fun.

In a game as complex as the sims, Open World is not a good thing. Open World is, what killed the Sims 3 (beside other things). Sims 4 came half finished, because Sims 3 could take no further DLC. The "Sims Community" is full of PPL who hate the Sims 4, because it is not like the Sims Game, they played as a child. And hype so-called Alternatives. And that is their right. But the Loading Screens are, what makes the Sims still playable after 10 Years and 16 EXP, 12 GP and 20 SP, that add Gameplay. Not to talk about the big complex Mods, we have today. Sims 3 did not run on half of the PC of their time. With only 20 DLC. The co-called Alternatives look shiny. But no one has seen them running.

I really enjoy opinion pieces like this, even if they’re of a different opinion than mine (which this current post is not). Please keep doing them!
