This mod adds a new self-click interaction on all sims that ages them up one single day.
The purpose is to turn aging off- and then...use the honor system, I guess, to simulate in-household Rotational Play.
Play one Sim's active career all day? Age em up.
Their kid basically went to school and did nothing else? Don't age em up. Play them tomorrow.
Next day, play the kid- they accomplish some scouting activities, do their homework, have an active High School day. Age em up. Parent went to work as a rabbit hole? Don't age em up.
Spent a whole week focusing on one sim's personal goals and everybody else got neglected? Age em up 7 times, then play somebody else for a week. Repeat until satisfied.
Parents went on a long date and the kids sat in the household panel doing away actions that only kept their moods up? Well, they sure as hell didn't age up today, right?
NOTE: When Aging is DISABLED, the amount of days a Sim has left in their current age will not be displayed on hover. The mod will still progress their days, though.
-------------
I get annoyed when my sims age up on days where I was too busy attending to another Sim to actually do anything with them. With this interaction, I can make sure that I only age up the Sims I played enough that day to feel like I didn't 'waste' the day.
I don't consider this cheating, as Sims do very little personal progress without being directly controlled anyway. So if my Sim does okay at work or school while I'm playing someone else, they still didn't really "do anything", and I don't feel like aging them up has given them "an extra free day of progress", because day-to-day progression like that is so minimal.
I will be looking into making this an optional automated system- where a notification pops up for each household sim each day late at night asking if they've lost a day of their life or not.
