Legacy Save: April Edition (Patreon)
Content
This version comes with 35 New Sims living in 16 lots, a few pets, 5 clubs, and 14 new uninhabited or community lots, as well as a number of world details added with TOOL, which are now tracked on the spreadsheet alongside everything else! (Not everything new is pictured, but a lot of it is)
The total number of New/Edited sims in this save is now over 100!
Remember, all these sims have full cleaned up wardrobes, new clothes, family bios, preset skills and careers and lifestyles and whatnot, 5 traits out of CAS minimum, family bios, personal bios (not all complete but they will be!), and newly renovated or built homes!
New Families since the last save:
-Landgraab: Mom, Malcolm, Mimi, and Dudley. This is the Landgraab family from The Sims on Console. Dudley lives separate, having been forced to go to college- but he isn't employed or enrolled, he's just living off the money he was given for tuition. Mom, Malcolm, and Mimi live in a mansion on Windenburg's island. DISCLAIMER: Mansion was not made by me!
-Newbie: Bob, Betty, and Buddy. This is a blend of the Newbie family from The Sims 1, Sim People, and The Sims on Console. Betty's appearance is intentionally more like her Sims Console appearance, and she's given something of a japanese appearance- in reference to The Sims 1 giving sims unique appearances for the Japanese release, titled "Sim People". Buddy is their dog from the console game. They live in Founder's Cove in Willow Creek.
-Broke: Brandi, Dustin, and Beau. In The Sims 2, set 25 years after The Sims 1, Brandi is Bob and Betty's daughter. In this "timeline", I've aged Bob and Betty up to merely adults, which may not logically align with Brandi having a teenage son- but this save is not meant to be that intricate, and family age discrepancies are something of a Sims series staple. Brandi has an intentionally mixed-ethnicity appearance, aiming to blend Betty's komorebi background with Bob. Her kids pass as white. They live in a residential rental in Founders Cove, on the same street as Bob and Betty. The house has an adjacent rental available for the player.
-Charming: Claire and Luna. Claire and Luna are Sims 1 premade Sims without much of a background. They live in Founder's Cove.
-Gabriel: Ol' Gabby Gabriel, Ol' Horsey Gabriel, and Ol' Grit Gabriel are from MySims. Gabby and Grit are canonical, Horsey is a new addition. They live in Chestnut Ridge. Having been a former Wandolier for the King in MySims Kingdom, Gabby is a spellcaster.
-Game Boys: Vic Vector and Odin Revolution are two dichotomous but compatible Sims from MySims. They live together in Nordhaven, as childhood sorta-friends who have reconnected into real friends as adults. Odin is a minor celebrity guitarist, and Vic is a parnormal investigator. Vic also runs an arcade out of the bottom floor of their home, which took over the Koopman household's lot. The Koopmans do not yet have a replacement, and may not make the cut.
-Langeraak: Kaylynn Langeraak is the iconic maid from The Sims 2, known for being caught with Daniel Pleasant cheating on his wife. This incarnation of her has a vaguely Bella Goth-like appearance, which could contribute to several of the illicit relationships she has with men around town. Her aspiration is Villainous Valentine. She wears her maid uniform as her normal clothing, and lives in Newcrest in a unique house I built for her.
-Pleasant: Daniel, Mary-Sue, Angela, and Lillith from The Sims 2. Daniel is cheating on Mary-Sue with Kaylynn. Mary-Sue is potentially too distracted by being a boss lady business bitch to notice. Angela and Lillith are at emotional and societal odds with each other, and do not get along, despite being twins. The family is infamously discordant- with Daniel having a Bad reputation, Mary-Sue, having a Good reputation, Lillith having an Atrocious reputation, and Angela having a Pristine reputation. Angela is in the Cheering club. (Disclaimer: I do not remember if I built this version of the lot or not. It has not been redecorated. It may be rebuilt from scratch anyway, as the second floor is UNPLAYABLE with Sims 4's roofing system!)
-BFF: Travis Scott, Summer Holiday, and Liberty Lee. These 3 Sims were MySims references all along, but didn't really look or act it. They've been completely remodeled. They live in the EA refresh of their home, currently with no changes, although the bedrooms need work. Travis is a world-traveling early-retirement former tech CEO...who may be using travel to avoid the fact that both his roommates and best friends are into him. Summer stuck around after high school as cheer captain and now works as a teacher, and runs the Cheering Club. Liberty Lee has no dislikes, only likes.
-Hick: Mama, Elden, and their 3 dogs. They are from Sims 1. They live in a trailer in Founder's Cove. Their yard is a mess, and they live a life of delusion- Mama wants to be a world famous celebrity despite her age and middling looks, and Elden wants to be a mansion baron despite living in a trailer and only holding a job as a Handyman at Level 1.
-Capp: Consort, Juliette, Puck, and Hermia. Consort has taken in his grandchildren after their parents died "mysteriously" in a fire. The fire was likely a result of the feud between the Capps and Montys, which the kids are all taking in different ways. Juliette is dating one of them, Puck and Hermia are possibly aware, Puck says it's "on sight" with the Montys, and Hermia just wants it all to end. They live in Tartosa. (Cordelia and Caliban, the dead parents, are currently on the lot as ghosts. I'm not sure where they'll go just yet.)
-San Sequoia Startup: Nova Curious and Lewis Sancho are two tech geniuses...well, one of them is a tech genius, the other is a group project scene stealer...who live in San Sequoia together. They are a tech startup with a rocky past, with Lewis having literally stolen Nova's code in college to graduate with higher grades than her. She didn't rat him out, and they've managed to become "friends" enough to recognize the other's contributions will be important to tech startup success, with one being the brains and one being the public face. These two Sims are from a Sims 4 Scenario. Nova is a cousin to the Curious Family, through Pascal, who is way too young in this timeline for that to make any sense.
-Birch: Juno fell from the sky and never went back. We asked people on the streets of Del Sol Valley about her and got a range of responses: "She looks like a homemade human. In a good way." "She's a time traveler, right? From like. The 90s? I was born in 2010." "I'm pretty sure you can see her in the background of a bunch of pictures in my history book..." "That alien lady? What about her?" "I'm not sure what she's famous for. I just know she's famous." "Oh, the hotdog mascot?" Juno Birch is a real life real person who is real. She requires a set of CC by SurelySims and IceCreamForBreakfast, which features many, many, many Sims-1-coded items, so I don't feel bad about making you download it. She lives in her own self-designed house in Del Sol Valley. She is the mortal enemy of Judith Ward. She also runs the club AnachroniSims Anonymous, for Sims who are lost in time. Juno and her home are by Juno and were taken from the gallery!
-Meandering Thrall: Feral Le Moustier is a caveman whose ghost appeared during construction on a building in Britechester. Workers found the meteor that killed him while digging out a basement, and he's "haunted" the construction site since. It's now treated like a habitat for him to be studied, although he's recently started exploring the modern world. It would appear that he was not a ghost the entire time he was dead, only having come "to life" recently upon his discovery. This is an original character, and he lives in Britechester. He is a member of AnachroniSims Anonymous.
-Ersatz Angels: Louie Du Pointypond and Lester Du Tigertribunal appear to be joined at the hip, and by all accounts, one would assume them lovers. But they do not express imtimacy of any form, or even appear to be friends- yet they are always together and Louie hangs onto Lestat like a child holding his father's coattails. Some suspect domestic abuse, others wonder if the two are brothers who experienced a shared trauma in different ways. And none know just how adjacent to accurate their many pessimistic assumptions really are. Louie and Lester are vampires living in Willow Creek.
New Clubs:
-AnachroniSims Anonymous: Love the world and yourself in it, move through it as though it offers no resistance, as though the world is your natural element. Right now we are here, and nothing can mar our perfection, or steal the joy of this perfect moment. This club is for Sims lost in time. They meet at Spas and do wellness activities. Current Members are Juno Birch, Feral La Moustier, and Charles Doinkins.
-Technical Difficulties: This is Nova and Lewis' tech startup meeting group. They meet at cafes to program and argue.
-Cheers to That! : This is the cheerleading club, headed by Summer Holiday. Currently the only member is Angela Pleasant.
-Capp Family Feud: The Capp Family members (when relevant) are in this club and fight Monty Family Feud members. They meet at the community lot in Tartosa.
-Monty Family Feud: The Monty Family members (when relevant) are in this club and fight Capp Family Feud members. They meet at the community lot in Tartosa.
New Lots:
-The Old Mill, Evergreen Harbor. This is a remodel of The Old Mill EA lot, emptied of furniture and redesigned to look, uh, old. Bess Sterling currently does not live here any longer, but is still present in the save!
-The Depot, Evergreen Harbor. This is a night club replacing The Caboose. It is a multi-story storage/factory building of some sort, abandoned and taken over for parties.
-11 Sim Lane, Willow Creek. This is a Sims 1 home recreation. It is slightly too expensive to be a starter home.
-10 Sim Lane, Newcrest. This is a Sims 1 home recreation. It is just under 16k.
-6 Sim Lane, Newcrest. This is a Sims 1 home recreation. Michael Bachelor will live here.
-3 Sim Lane, Newcrest. This is a Sims 1 home recreation.
-2 Sim Lane, Newcrest. This is a Sims 1 home recreation of the large mansion building.
-66 Gunther Goth Highway, Brindleton Bay. This is a Sims 1 home recreation. It is a just-under-20k famhouse with an already growing orchard in the front yard.
-Public Party Pavillion, Copperdale. This is a public wedding venue that is styled after a generic wooden park party area you might rent for a birthday.
-Manzanita Terrace, San Sequoia. This is an EA gallery build of 4 townhouses as a Residential Rental. 3 are unoccupied.
-The Rusty Bowling Shoe, Chestnut Ridge. A replacement of The Rusty Horseshoe. This is a bowling alley with two Karaoke Rooms and a small DJ area upstairs.
-Maritime Manor, Britechester. This is a pre-made dorm converted into a Residential Rental where the "units" are just the bedrooms, with the rest of the home being public space. The largest bedroom is rented by Dudley Landgraab.
-Sulani Beach Wedding, Sulani. This is a beach wedding venue where the seats and wedding arch are actually in the water (and functional).
-Flip Flops Resort Grill, Sulani. This is a restaurant focusing on families. It has a playground out front, and is open-air.
