Legacy Save: Sourcing Disclaimer (Patreon)

Have you seen my posts about my Legacy Save File project? Sure you have.
Anyway, it's come to my attention...you don't get notifications for comments on the gallery. I don't use the gallery due to a combination of brain damage issues I've developed over the past 25 years regarding "making things for me" versus "making things to share" that have made it so that, if I am making things to share, I am constantly cognizant of that and it impacts my creativity. In other words, I don't share shit to the gallery because it makes me avoid CC. I spent a decade avoiding CC. To the point where if I see a CC icon on things, my brain says not to use it, because it won't transfer to someone who downloads the build or sim- even if I'm not planning on sharing them! It drives me absolutely nuts. As you can imagnie making this save file is pretty hard with that issue, but I have completely cleared my mods folder out from starting this project and am "limiting" the amount of CC used. It's kinda nice. This is the first major building project I've done with intent to share in a long, long time.
So aside from a few builds I shared the week the game came out (one of which, I will not-very-humbly boast had the staff talking after the launch weekend about how impressively it used the new build tools...), I just don't use it...and had no idea.
The point of this story is that I have been asking a few creators if I can use this or that build as a base in my save file to no responses. This is why I've gotten no responses. Unfortunately, there is no real way to get permission unless the creator is also on social media- and findable on said social media, using the same username.
As a result, I'm going to compromise with myself. Future builds placed into the save file will be credited on the spreadsheet tracking its progress. I will name the creator and I will simply use the builds...without asking.
I've been editing anything I use that comes from the gallery to the point I believe it counts as a fully transformative work- and I've been using the gallery exclusively, with one exception, for remakes of Sims content. That means the builds I'm using are recreations of structural stuff that I'd just be recreating in largely the same way anyway, so I do not feel it is immoral to use them as a base and then tweak them to my liking.
This does make monetizing the early access versions of the save feel a bit weird, but it's not even close to enough of the save to compromise the amount of work I'm personally putting into it, and those versions are few and far between, and they are also not very popular from what I've seen in terms of new subscribers anyway.
So the TLDR is that I'm putting a gallery build of the Sims 3 Goth House in the save right now because like hell am I rebuilding that whole thing myself and it'll be credited and future builds may be done the same way. Just please be aware of this- not everything will be 100% by me. The project is just too big for that. It feels very stupid to recreate existing Sims series buildings when they've already been recreated. And as I said, I've been customizing them regardless. So. Hopefully everybody's cool with that.
