I'm just sayin'.

Edit: This post is not about Peacemaker. This post is about how when we're getting new paid content, it shouldn't be an existing CC set, remade by the exact same creator, with a price tag slapped on it. I legitimately cannot simplify the issue down further than that and geuninely don't understand what's contentious about it. It is a poor value concept, and paid content should be a better value than "Free CC Set Part 2: This Time It Costs Money".

I would not care if we got a mudroom kit by someone who did not already have a free mudroom set.

I would not care if we got a peacemaker kit that was a new set of stuff peacemaker has not already released for free.

I would not care if we got [style some CC creator has already made] set by [some other CC creator entirely].

It is the combination of "A set that already exists for free" and "by the exact same person who made that set" that makes this kind of thing a bad value. It's really not that complicated.

At the end of the day its 5 bucks and that's not a price worth being upset about, but this kind of thing could and should be new concept content, and it doesn't matter who the creator is- Paid content made by a CC creator being a new version of one of their own existing CC sets is a worse value than a new concept set by said creator.

Ricky's Mom

i think like you but the kits need to person who play with console and they can't have cc

I think that this post is useful in that it alerts us to this practice and therefore allows those of us who can access both to make a more informed decision about what they wish to use. Console players have a simple decision, "Do i like the new kit or not". It is good that Waffle has highlighted this information to his members and pointed out the situation. I have the CC version already but will check the kit out before deciding if I want it in addition to, or instead of, that CC, or not at all. Thank you for the "Heads Up" Waffle, I now have a better strategy for checking out future kits and their potentially free alternatives :-)
