-Improved performance in the Tech Guru, Freelance Programmer, and Secret Agent careers
-Improved success chance of Hacking interactions
-Improved success chance of EVERY Computer interaction
-Decreases rate of romantic relationship gain
-Decreases rate of learning Athletic skills

Star Player

Before: Improves rate of Fitness skill gain. That's it.

After:

-Improves Foosball playing
-Improves Juice Pong playing hidden skill development
-Improves Juice Keg Tapping hidden skill development
-Increases Throwing Things hidden skill development
-Improves performance in the Athlete and Military careers
-SIGNIFICANTLY improves performance in High School classes and exams
-Slightly improves speed of all Athletic skill gains
-Increases speed of gaining friends and relationships

-Increases Research and Debate skill development
-Increases Rocket Science skill development
-Increases Writing skill development
-Increases performance in the Scientist, Doctor, Detective, and Criminal careers
-Increases rate of Researching using the Research Machine
-Increases success rate when using Science and Research equipment
-Increases speed of writing books
-Doubles speed of completing Homework
-Doubles speed of completing Term Papers
-Decreases Charisma skill gain

These changes are obviously based on high school sitcom stereotypes and do not necessarily reflect reality or the life path you wish for your sims. This is why Football Players get increased school performance (High Schools will often keep players grades up, to ensure they can continue to play), Cheerleaders become somewhat catty (able to make friends and enemies just as easily), Hackers are less social, etc.

FUN FACT: I was going to make these also apply to scholarships for University. But guess what? They already do! Sims with the Cheer and Football traits, for example, are guaranteed an Athletics scholarship!
