The RFR Early Bird wants to kick the weekend off NOW with new RFR.

George Lucas established the galaxy far, far away a long time ago. Now, years after his retirement, his protege Dave Filoni sits in the executive suite at Lucasfilm and has a say in every STAR WARS tale being created. We analyze recent interview highlights of Filoni discussing the responsibility of moving The Saga forward without his mentor and the importance of maintaining the integrity of what Lucas established almost five decades ago. I did the mistake of listening to this episode on my headphones while grocery shopping (yes I’m one of those guys, sorry not sorry, I do take them out when I go to deli section and checkout) and I was laughing out loud like a mad man at the east side Dave and Vader updated dialogue spots.

In my old age, I've been working on staying positive. Reading the Stoics. Trying to not get too emotional. All that jazz. There's too much anger in the world these days. Don't need to add to it. With the Wars, I always try to look on the bright side. That's essentially the moral of the OT. Find the good in something. But the last few weeks of "The Acolyte" have been rough for me. I've wanted to rant like Eastside Dave--he's not entirely wrong (and the clips made me laugh hard, too). But I'm glad Jason and Jim are taking the positive stance they are. It's easy to pick apart everything that doesn't fit your imagination. The Internet makes that super easy. And maybe Lucasfilm needs some constructive feedback. But what good would more yelling do? Especially when we all love this stuff. And we love hanging together. So, I'm gonna take the guys' lead and roll with this one and see what comes next!

Great discussion and the Eastside Dave, Empire Vader (update) and then Jimmy almost going Eastside Dave was exactly what I needed during my flight home yesterday. The cackling witch was terrible and such a distraction. I laughed and cried when I heard it. lol.
