Great show as always! Have to agree with Brian, there’s very little star wars I can say I can’t stand, and especially with the acolyte it’s too early to judge since we haven’t wrapped up the story . Fun hang, nice job Freaks!

Dominic Walter

Great episode. Do not let Blake listen though! 😂

The only Star Wars I don’t consume (but can’t say I “can’t stand”) are kids targeted shows that have way too many episodes and no real impact on the saga to be worth my time. I’ve watched select episodes of Freemaker, Ewoks, Droids, Resistance and Young Jedi but can’t commit to the full series.

Great episode guys!! I checked and I’m just behind Tyler with 26 appearances in the “Machtverse”

You gotta listen to every RFR to understand Jimmy’s backstory and you get Barry’s first appearance and then listen to Rush Hour where they reference Barry and then listen to every after show for Tyler’s origin story and THEN Babu Freaks. After that, you listen to the Machtverse but that is Legends and not RFR canon. You gotta do your homework but it pays off.

Great listen fellas! Do I sense a new Patreon feature emerging, Star Wars After Dark?

Actually could be fun. Some of the Star Wars adult parodies must have been made by super fans because there are some real deep cut characters in imdb cast lists - like Swilla Corey, Labria, Lt Shaan Chidsen, Dengar etc

Agreed, when the only fans telling me “i have to watch it” are exclusively 4-7 years old, I don’t typically make room in my schedule to watch 😂 That new Lego what-if coming out though…. That looks like a fun ride.

Fun listen as always guys! The power of Hey, Hey! Classic I don’t care about Ki Adi Mundi’s age. He’s an alien species and could live longer, however, they need to explain how he didn’t know about the Sith. I would love to see the Underworld stuff show up in animation / live series. Why not use it? I was surprised you guys haven’t mention the Cantina Haslab. Are any of you backing it? I just want the Tonnika Sisters but guessing getting them after the fact will be very pricey. Andrea is right there with you Brian. She just got done listening to the 20th anniversary Heir to the Empire audio book. She liked it and thought the guy doing the book was amazing. This was her first interaction with that story.

What I find so funny about ages is the need to be so strict with stuff dropped in obscure novels or comics, and in turn it just narrows the window of storytelling possibilities. If they didn’t change Ki’s age, we wouldn’t see him in this. It’s also odd how fans apply human years to some species. Like when Greedo was in TPM and some said he was then “too old” to be in ANH as a low level thug.
