New photos from the upcoming STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW were released this week featuring Jude Law and a few space pirates, including our first look at Jaleel White’s character Gunter. We breakdown the photos and look for any clues about the show. LEGO STAR WARS: REBUILD THE GALAXY premiered last week with a big event in L.A. Singer/songwriter Cyn attended the premiere and she joins us In The Cantina to review the show and talk about her new LP “Valley Girl: Lost In Laurel - Side A”. Ewan McGregor was honored recently with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame and Hayden Christensen was there. We have clips from the ceremony along with highlights from Donald Glover discussing his in-development LANDO film. Plus, news about the next “Star Wars Jedi” game featuring Cal Kestis, listener feedback, and complaints about the current retail price of certain STAR WARS action figures..

Four RFR drops in one week…love it and somehow keeping up with it! Starting this one now. I purchased 6 newly released vintage collection figures at Walmart a few days ago. Five of the normal packaged ones cost me $13.78 each. But yeah, the Cobb Vanth cost $24.97. Which I believe is slightly down in price from some of the other deluxe figures that were being sold packaged in boxes instead of the plastic bubble on card backs. $11 more for 10% more plastic is pretty f’d up though. Of course, I’m still one of the dumbass’s buying them. Great show and topics this week. Great interview with Cyn. Her answers to the Yoda Questionnaire were interesting and unique. And I totally agree with your review of Rebuild the Galaxy. I really liked it (which really surprised me).

I think Disney should bring Hayden and Ewan back in like a three night back to back to back miniseries that gives us a tale from “The Dark times”…. They would not even have to meet in this, but Old Ben getting old on Tatooine and Vader deep into his journey on the Dark Side. It could give the fans the Mos Eisley cantina scene we all want… and perhaps show Vader hunting down some Rebels? Maybe a Vader vs Saw Gerrera showdown and that’s how Saw gets his own breathing apparatus? Idk just a thought that’s been in my head lately.

Our pal Kyle lucked out with Cyn, huh? Fun interview, Jimmy.

I have a carded “droids” jord dusat figure. Sale price tag still on the card…99 cents!! They did dip below $1.99 one upon a time.

Way behind and trying to get caught up before and during my flight home today. I could’ve bought a Cobb Vanth yesterday for 16.97 at Walmart and didn’t do it…

I think it’s the right, measured way to capitalize on these actors while they are interested…. While also making use of the actual Disney platform. Miniseries over a long weekend or holiday season would definitely bring viewers. And if it’s limited to just 3 parts they could space out the story like Andor is doing over the course of a few years the Canon. Hatfields and McCoy miniseries comes to my mind when I keep thinking of this idea

Fun discussion. I kept calling poor Cramer the wrong name at Bristol and he was so nice about it. Sorry Cramer. I went to KB toys with my mom doing back to school shopping and she wanted to buy me the POTF figures for $.50 each. I told her I was too old to have toys and never got them… Lando movie? Sounds like fun and I would love to see a Solo series with the same cast.
