The RFR Early Bird has arrived with this week's ad-free show!

Star Wars rumors are running rampant about what might happen and what could have happened. We look closely at many of them, including what’s happening with the Daisy Ridley “New Jedi Order” film and the possibility of Keanu Reeves joining the cast of a future STAR WARS production. The Unthinkable Outrageous story of the week returns, plus, listener feedback, STAR WARS collecting, and a wacky random fan encounter with George Lucas at a zoo.

Loving outlaws. Completed the main campaign and working though the side quests, haven’t run into any bugs. Does a great job of having stuff from OT, clone wars and sequel trilogy

Peter Beisser

The in depth Ewok discussion this week is RFR at its best--41 years later, still thinking about these little furries.

Brian Robinson

Always loved Daisy Ridley from her first reveal and time alone in front of the AT-AT having her lunch. She was setup so well, but Rey's character arc took a steep turn once they hit Starkiller Base.

Blake Weaver

Keanu definitely made the right choice. I know I’d choose hanging around Ana de Armas over being on The Acolyte also.

Marc Richard

How big of a pooper scooper do you need for an Ewok?

Ben P. Stein

I laughed so much during this episode, from the observation that Gungans apparently don't realize that Boss Nass doesn't look like them to the George Lucas encounter at the zoo and the Ned Beatty reference. Jimmy and Jason outdo themselves every week! I found another George Lucas at the zoo sighting from eight years ago: https://youtu.be/MeFuUISvbII?si=OOAHknk_7bOEtf6d

Mandy

Happy to hear some outlaws love in here in this podcast 🥰

ColoradoGil

Where do I find my custom link to plug into my iTunes player?

Eric from Phoenix

Click on the three dots on the main patreon page to get the rss feed and then I think you add that to the podcast section on your Apple phone. It’s been a few years so I don’t totally remember.

Marc Richard

I’m still on Toshara and having a hard time getting into the game. Did it take you a while to start loving it? Not sure what it is, does feel like Star Wars but I find the gameplay a little clunky. I signed up for a month of Ubisoft + and my month is almost up. I’ll give it another try later on but have a long list of games I need to finish before buying new ones.

waterproofjesus

I love the episodes that are almost entirely just Jimmy and Jason talking. The less structure, the better!

Fettmatic

Cobb Vanth is not a exclusive to any retailer.

David Glading

It did take me a while to get to grips with the game initially, but after a few hours it started to feel more natural. I’d suggest giving it a other try and also mix up the main campaign with some of the side missions

Valentin

Luke cries a the end of ROTJ when Vader dies.

John Phillips

As one who is playing Outlaws, the criticism of Kay isn’t that she’s female, it’s more that they programmers made her unattractive and that she’s able to knock out stormtroopers with just her fists.

Tanya S

Great show as always, boyos! Cheers! 🍻

ColoradoGil

Well, I could not figure out how to get the RSS feed into iTunes for the ad free version of the show. Too much work. I have cancelled my membership and will just listen to the version with commercials.

RobO from ChicagO

As much as I love The Matrix and Keanu in the role. I don’t think he’s necessarily a “good” actor, very one note. Woody on the other hand I think has a wide range and the more extensive catalog. True Detective was the show Swank was thinking of and Woodys acting chops are on full display in there.

RobO from ChicagO

Amen. I heard she’s in a new movie with Sydney Sweeney, I have no idea the plot but I’ll be watching!

Martin Lampen

Am I going crazy or was Jimmy getting trillions mixed up with billions?

Scott St. Louis

Mac, you need to let Cal Kestis get some “restis” and pick up Outlaws! This is the best Star Wars yet! Hanging ing Jabba’s Palace, the Cantina, fighting Stormtroopers—can’t put it down!

Martin Lampen

Ha. Yes, a trillion is 1000 billion. The highest grossing movie of all time, Avatar grossed just under 3 billion, so you'd have to have 333 Avatars on your resume to gross a trillion.

Martin Lampen

Controversial opinion: if Ewoks were real and catching Earth humans in nets, I don't think they'd be considered pets, but vermin.

Bart Barenbrug

On Boss Nass: Maybe Gungans are bee-like in that aspect and he's their queen...

Fettmatic

I have a question pertaining to the latest Cobb Vanth figure. Does everyone like the previous boxes of tvc deluxe or current Super Sized card version?

Fettmatic

Btw, Padme called the Rodian senator uncle Odo.

Fettmatic

Check out the John Wick films, Jason.

Turtle Wars

No and no. I would prefer they fit everything in a bubble on a standard sized card, even if that means intruding on the graphics.

Eric from Phoenix

Couldn’t agree more Cris. At least with the larger bubble card you can see the figure but they need to just use a regular card.

Eric from Phoenix

Thanks for playing my voicemail. Swank nailed my reason for saying baby Ewok Unpopular opinion but I have never liked the Poe character. He was way too good flying in The Force Awakens and only a Jedi should be able to do what he did. I felt like he was an unnecessary character and one where a character already existed (Wedge). I realized Wedge was older but he’s basically Poe. Our oldest son is named Owen. We don’t name him after the character in A New Hope but we liked the name and it was a Star Wars name. I wanted Ben for our second son but that didn’t happen :). Andrea tried getting me a Star Wars cake using the book cover of Dark Forces Rising. The store said they couldn’t copy it due to copyright but they would do something close. Lol, it ended up looking like an elf next to a rock.

Turtle Wars

While Resistance wasn’t all that good, I did enjoy collecting the 10 figures when they were released. I like how colorful they are and that they’re in animated sculpt. It was a nice little figure run for a not so great show.

Christian Xentaras

Definitely “billions” not “trillions”, but otherwise great show! 😁

Jared Cantor

For boss Nass, maybe it's something where in gungan culture there is a rare genetic mutation and he's an example. Maybe that's even something of a trait that they look for as evidence of a gungan being suited for leadership

Jared Cantor

I have 3 - including synara, which I love - and I'd agree they're colorful and fun to look at

Brad Riverdahl

Didn’t they add blinking to the Nemoidians too?
