Anyone think Rose will kick the bucket in that action scene?

I wanted to weigh in on the Duros rumors for Ep. 9 and throw out a discussion item: could the Duros be Shriv from Battlefront II? Shriv, a Duros male, played a semi-central role in BF2 and was last seen heading to the Outer Rim to rally the troops post-Starkiller base. Could Shriv be the catalyst to bring back Lando (whom he interacted with in BF2)? Shriv would certainly have more one-liners than Nien Numb or Lobot as Lando’s next co-pilot! What do you think? I know yall discussed the interplay between video games and canon, so this would bring the narratives of Battlefront II and Ep 9 in sync a bit. Love the show!

As soon as they brought up the Duros rumor I thought of Shriv. I Loved the character. Creating Shriv was probably the best thing EA has done with the Star Wars license thus far...as sad as that sounds lol.

This year's most acclaimed and popular videogame titles were open world (see Spiderman and Red Dead Redemption 2). I'm a big fan of the open world sub-genre and think that the storytelling potential in that type of setting is more impactful than any other type of game - even games that are on rails the whole time. Whatever the future holds for Star Wars games, hopefully executing a proper open world game is top of the list for any current or potential license holder.
