Ashley Eckstein: Becoming Ashoka Tano (Patreon)

"In The Cantina: Star Wars Interviews" feature our discussions with the cast and crew from a galaxy far, far away...All in one place!

In this archive interview recorded just prior to the release of the STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS theatrical release, hear the first time we ever spoke to Ashley Eckstein, the talent behind Ahsoka Tano. Ashley reveals a lot about her Star Wars experiences including how she auditioned and eventually won the role of Ashoka, her desire to develop the character beyond a “bratty kid” and  into a formable Jedi Knight, and the developing relationship between Master Anakin Skywalker and his new padawan learner. This was also Ashley’s first-ever interview as a member of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars cast, and the first of many with RFR.
