We were invited to attend Star Wars Fan Days III in Plano, Texas back in 2009 for a two-day mini Star Wars Celebration. All the dealers sold Star Wars stuff and there were about a dozen actors from the films...David Prowse, Hugh Quarshie, Peter Mayhew, and more. This was where Swank and I first met many of the Clone Wars Actors...JAT, Kat, Ash, Matt, Dee...Everyone was there. They even did a little read thru of a script during a panel. It was a great time. It was amazing podcasting to a live audience and hanging out with 5000 Star Wars fans. Dave Filoni stopped by our show and you can hear it on the latest edition of The Filoni Files, available to all members of the RFR Rewind Tier and above. The pic above featuring the three of us was snapped at that event. I still have that shirt.

Look for RFR Hi-Fi to drop this Friday, late afternoon/early evening. We cannot provide an Early Bird this week because we won't be recording the show until late night Thursday. But I'll post it here first on Friday when it's ready for launch.  I'd like to feature some feedback this week so leave a voice mail at 708-320-1RFR (1737) . If you leave us a voice mail, let me know in the comments below with your Area Code, so I can flag it to play first.

Love the voicemail feature this week! Unfortunately my wife and I are on a cruise and a phone call would be very expensive. I’ll leave you one for next week when we get home :)

Hey guys, I just left a few voice messages that's really one long extrapolation of some thoughts I had of late. So sorry for the length! Anyways, my area code is 734. Thanks!

I meant to add one last important thing to my thoughts, though, but felt too embarrassed to continue the message. ;) Anyways, here goes: "Such is the way of the new Jedi to come: They will embody not just the ideals and history and legends of the Jedi, but be moved by the living spirit of the Force made manifest in the greatest of all the Jedi in history: Luke Skywalker. I believe that that is a very specific role that Luke will play now, showcasing how immensely important he is to the Force now being personalized throughout the whole galaxy. Something we've never seen before. And that is a great comfort in this modern day of storytelling!

So sorry again for the length. Perhaps next time I'll just stick to email!

We didn't get to much voice mail this week, but I see you left several messages. I will review them soon. THANKS -JMac

Yeah, I didn't realize there was a time limit to your voice mail box; and I honestly didn't think it eould take me as long as it did to get the full idea and thought out. Everything seems so much shorter on paper! But once I got started with the idea, after it got cut off I had to try to finish it. So sorry again. Next time I will know, at least. Thanks so much for taking the time to review it. Appreciate it immensely!
