The Future of Star Wars

It's official. The future of the STAR WARS film franchise was made much more clear this week as Disney announced their release schedule going into next decade and beyond THE RISE OF SKYWALKER. We speculate about what this may mean for the already announced Benioff/Weiss film series and the Rian Johnson trilogy. Natalie Portman says criticisms of the Prequels were a “bummer”. We believe the Prequels have aged well and we have opinions. What will be the future of Star Wars Celebration? We discuss, share rumors, and make predictions. Where were you the night CARAVAN OF COURAGE: AN EWOK ADVENTURE premiered on ABC in 1984? Jimmy Mac remembers! Plus, Mark Hamill pays tribute to Peter Mayhew, Werner Herzog talks THE MANDALORIAN, and we review CLONE WARS news and information to come out of Star Wars Celebration Chicago.

Finally downloaded. Wow, for awhile this was like an episode of game of thrones between Jason and Jimmy. Great stuff.

I was driving with my wife while we were listening to this weeks episode. When your ad came on. Our conversation went like this… Me: Hey I know that guy! Wife: Really, from where? Me: Kinda…well no…not really…I mean I like his posts on RFR's patreon every once in awhile. Wife: ...ooook, sure. lol

Man Jason, I was disheartened by your cynicism towards Maul's reveal in the Clone Wars finale.... :( Thank goodness for Jimmy Mac to bring it back into focus! He's absolutely right: This is what's been missing all these years, and what countless fans have been hearing about for so long. It would've been severely lacking if Filoni decided not to bring him back, and frankly disappointing, even moreso hearing how he himself has worked on the siege of Mandalore story and Maul's place in it over all these years. But I would like to say I can understand Jason's cynicism to some extent, but about supposed big surprises in trailers that really aren't. Don't let that get ya down about Star Wars! We know this is a story that's been needing to be told for a very long time now, so it's all an organic, and thus necessary, part of the whole. It's Star Wars, baby!

Origin story for Puppet Lando was gold.
