Typically, I would have delivered this week's show to you by now, but it's been a super busy week for me, so I'm running just a little bit behind. So no early bird, but I still will post the show here first as soon as possible. Tonight for sure.

This week has been incredible. My family and I saw The Who on Tuesday night. Outdoor concert in the south suburbs of Chicago. It was 40 degrees with wind and rain on Tuesday and the band made several comments about the terrible Chicago weather. "You LIVE here", Roger Daltrey admonished us. "Hasn't anyone TOLD you?!?"  Pete Townshend responded, "Typical...Roger has somehow made this YOUR fault!"  We didn't care about the weather as the band kept us very warm with some incredible playing. I took that pic of Pete, who I have had the pleasure to meet a few times. He's very cool. I took my family and felt a little bit of pride as my 16 year old exclaimed "F--- Yeah!" during a high point in "Love Reign Over Me". After 50 plus years of performing, Pete and Roger still bring it.

Also this week, Michael Mac turned 20...Holy Crap! We had a great sushi dinner last night in his honor. And, I entertained a few TV producers in the Star Wars room for a top secret project that I hope gets the green light. I had to spend a lot of time in there dusting and refining some displays to impress them. I'm taking a photographic inventory of the entire action figure collection, which will help me create a checklist and it's good for insurance purposes.  I also started to shoot some video in the Star Wars room, as I feel it is currently showcase quality. I've been wanting to shoot some video in there for a long time. So hopefully those videos will drop soon. You guys will be the first to know.

On the RFR Video front, we have a few things coming soon. Leaving no fan behind, we put together a series of videos from RFR LIVE IN CHICAGO at REGGIES, including Puppet Lando, Michael Mac jamming blues with Glen Nelson and Cris Macht, Interviews with Wendy Snyder and Star Wars actor Anthony Forrest and more! RFR behind-the-scenes contributor Chris Amorim has been working his butt off to edit the footage. Look for it soon.

This week on RFR, we look back at 20 years of THE PHANTOM MENACE and share our memories, from the lightsaber duel, the methods of the puppet master Senator Palpatine, and we debate over who is the true protagonist of the Episode I. Of course, we look at all the cool new details and photos from THE RISE OF SKYWALKER and we let it fuel our speculation...And a few complaints too. Joining us for the whole show, from The Big Honkin' Show, is the ebullient Steve Glosson, master of the GOLiverse. It's great to have Steve back on the show, it's been too long!

Can’t wait to see that toy room footage! Also, The Who is playing right down the block from me at the Phillies stadium tomorrow, with Billy Joel there tonight. Plan on smoking a cigar and listening on the deck. Have a good holiday weekend!

Jonathan Hoffman

I thought Steve didn’t like Star Wars anymore. 😉 That’s what was said on his last geek out loud endgame podcast.

Brian Klein

I was planning on going to The Who show, but decided to go to the Alpine Valley show instead. Glad you had a good time JMac.

Chris Hansford

I think he’s just disappointed with TLJ, like a lot of fans. And, liked what was going on in the MCU.

Barry Harmon

Wow, sounds like a very busy week but nothing but great things! Can’t wait for the new show and videos! Just wait until Jimmy starts calling himself a YouTuber. :D

True. Are you by any chance going to a certain Star Wars-themed birthday party in St. Charles tomorrow?
