RFR Live Returns This Week (Patreon)

We are planning to do a live call in show this week, probably Tuesday night. Still working on the details, so watch this space for updates. We haven’t gone live in a little while and we are looking forward to hearing from you, so I’m letting RFR Patreon members know first. If I see enough are interested, then we won’t tell anyone else and make this an exclusive just for you guys. JMac

I’d like to call in or at least have this subject covered. Why have there not been any updates lately for the progress of the Galaxy’s Edge hotels at each park and the Jedi and Star Wars World experiences that go with them? Wasn’t that advertised when they started talking about the Star Wars expansions at each park? Sign up and emerge yourself in the world of Star Wars?

Yeah, the hotel is only in Orlando. I drove past the site today - they’re just putting up concrete walls. Probably at least a year or two from opening, but they never said it would open at the same time as Galaxy’s Edge.

Plus all the other stuff...The Mando, Ep IX, Goo Gone...anything. I'll give you more info like time and phone number asap. Ep. 9 thoughts! I definitely would like to hear people's take on how they could make Luke work, especially in light of his character change in TLJ with that BIG flashback scene with Kylo Ren. This is hugely important to Luke and to many fans. I'm sure I'm with alot of people when I say Ep. 9 could finally make that scene work or leave it to make Luke totally different.... It's the one thing I've struggled with the most in the sequel trilogy. So maybe it's just me and the need for some catharsis!

Theories, predictions, and speculation? Ep 9 focus? My theory is that, with JJ directing, the Ep 7 story points are most important to telling what Ep 9 will offer.

I’m very excited for Fallen Order! It’s been so long since we’ve had a good single-player, story driven Star Wars game with no micro-transactions. Plus I LOVE how Chris Avellone is working on it. He’s been a part of some of my favorite games ever…one being Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II. Avellone’s comments on what was wrong with The Last Jedi, and his desire to keep politics/agendas out of games are spot on. I think we may have a winner on our hands with this one guys.

Also talk about anything Galaxies Edge. There's a lot of us listening from the other side of the world (Australia) who will probably never get there so we have to live vicariously through you guys. So anyone who has a good story let us know. Also have heard whispering of the Millennium Falcon ride being slightly different each time depending on how well you do. I wonder if you could ace it, is there a high score. Thoughts?

I suggest discussing the interesting phenomenon that because of YouTube and social media coverage, there has never been a Disney/Star Wars experience like Galaxy's Edge where people can vicariously experience and enjoy it so deeply and yet possibly never be able to set foot on property at either park. I know I've enjoyed it. :-)

Yeah I'm normally one and done with a podcast but I've listened to the Galaxy's edge podcast at least 8 times. (Listening to it now at the gym)
