The next episode of RFR will drop on Monday July 29th.  The show is running under our usual summer schedule, with family vacations galore. But we will be getting together over the weekend for my review of STAR WARS: GALAXY'S EDGE at Disneyland. Hear all about the things I saw and did. Hey quick news flash for you Jimmy before you go live with your report. On Wednesday before my family left the Park (great running into you BTW) we rode Star Tours one last time. On this trip we started out on a tour of Tatooine and ride in the Pod Races (first time I'd had that experience in all the years I've been riding since the revamp). Then we were sent in a mission from Yoda (again a first time for me), then followed up with the Battle over Coruscant. Honestly I was shocked and fully expected to just get the standard Jakuu and Crait ride I've experienced the last couple of visits.

Hey Jimmy, I'm curious to hear about the wait times and overall feeling you had of just how crowded the place was. I have been hearing that attendance actually DROPPED!! I think it's because many people (including myself) thought there is NO WAY the would be going during its opening, rather wait until things calm down.

I was there the same time as Jimmy and ran into him a couple of times. Attendance at the Park has begun to return to normal as Disney unblocked dates for employee passes and has begun offering discounted tickets for locals. Galaxy’s Edge was generally pretty busy, and Smuggler’s Run usually averaged around a 60-70 minute wait. However in the morning it was usually packed as people ran over there right away. One morning i went there was a three hour wait for the ride, so I bailed myself the opportunity to head to the cantina and check that. Other mornings we were able to use the morning crowds at Galaxy’s Edge to our advantage on rides throughout the Park. Generally by 12-1 PM the Park was pretty busy though.
