Thanks for taking my call about the music in the show! There are so many great motifs and signature sounds they use to very overtly identify what’s happening on screen, just like those classic spaghetti westerns. I didn’t have time to talk about this specific episode, but maybe if I get through next time!

I think the super weak acting took centerstage this week. It was present earlier, but when a man in a helmet out classes everyone else, we may have some problems ahead.

Keith. I called in and wanted to talk about the music too. You had much more to talk about then I did so glad they took you and not me. My comments were more about how much I liked the music and no one seemed to be talking about how good it is. No John Williams and it’s still great. Totally feels like it fits the show and Star Wars. You were spot on with your analysis. Did you call in before they started the broadcast? My gosh hilarious. The stream of randomness that the guys were discussing was awesome. Ohio State / Michigan game, Jason’s small bladder, Jason doing a perfect impression of Kahn for Trek 2 “This is City Alpha V...”, Jason looking up at the ceiling when he takes a leak. Hilarious!

Thanks Eric! Haha no I missed all of that, but I’ll be sure to call in earlier next time. The guys off-air moments can be sometimes funnier than when they’re recording. Hey if you’re interested in more stuff of the behind the sense of the music, here is the article I was referencing on the show. https://variety.com/2019/artisans/production/star-wars-mandalorian-music-1203402950/ Another SW connection is that Ludwig Göransson is also a music producer and has produced records with Childish Gambino.

So I don't get credit for this one, but the villagers were talking about their harvest and it was blue....blue harvest

This chapter was NOT good. It felt Contrived, Forced, Illogical & just badly written. So w/in a day & a half the Mando fights this "warrior" who looks like she just picked-up her kid from Soccer Practice (complete w/ lip gloss) & they become "amigos" & then they agree to "save" this village & "training" them to fight the ORKS(?) & on top of that this Village Lady virtually tries to Rape Mando by taking his helmet off & in essence asks him to stay & get married?? This was an example of how Bad Dialog (especially w/in 38 min) comes off REALLY BADLY. The whole chapter came off as Clunky & Amateurish where as Chptr 1 was an OK intro & Chpts 2 & 3 were excellent.....really hope this isn't a sign of a BIG NOSEDIVE in quality & where the rest of the season is going.
