Paul Bateman joins us for the full show to talk about anything and everything going on in THE RISE OF SKYWALKER. We look closely at the chemistry between the “Big 3” characters in this trilogy - Rey, Finn, and Poe - along with a hard focus on the return of Emperor Palpatine and speculation about  how his comeback was possible. We react to the appearances of fan favorites Lando Calrissian and Wedge Antilles, and throw down hard opinions about some heavy moments in the film, like the truth of Rey’s evil lineage, The Spirit of Luke, the final destruction of The Sith, and the kiss that sealed the deal. Enhancing our conversation is audience reaction audio from the theater where we saw THE RISE OF SKYWALKER on opening night that puts you right in our row!

Great! I was wondering what Paul had say ever since you mentioned his email at the live RFR event.

I'm glad Paul hasn't abandoned the show like David, Sam, & Kyle. Yeah, that's right, I called you out by name! You should all be ashamed!

So happy to hear from Paul again, and thrilled that he enjoyed the movie. I'd love to hear his take on the Mandalorian show.

I would love to hear Billy Mac's thoughts, even if they are not positive. All sides must be represented!

I definitely listened. Would have been there if I could. I would love to hear a spirited brotherly conversation if possible. I can't get enough BMac!

Had a lot of fun listening to this episode. Love the discussion on how this reminded you of the Dark Empire comic book series. Had that vibe. The only thing I don’t get is what Is being said at the very end of the podcast. Clearly it’s a recording from the moment Reylo kiss but there is a synthesized voice that I just can’t make out. L
