Two weeks after THE RISE OF SKYWALKER debut, we begin a deep exploration into the themes, character development, and impact of Episode IX on the whole Saga. This time, with no special guests or distractions, we're able to have a discussion about what TROS means to us and how it ties up the Skywalker story. Where does it enhance previous episodes in this trilogy? How does it reinforce messages from prior films? Does it contradict any of the previous mythology? We consider our reactions and look at other responses from across the internet. And, we listen to that mysterious transmission from The Emperor in Fortnite, along with comments from J.J. Abrams and more theater audio from when we saw the movie on opening night.

Thank the maker!! My work tomorrow is going to be hectic as hell so a new podcast episode to help break up the Excel spreadsheets is going to be most welcomed!

I have seen TROS three times now and it hits me in all the right spots each time.

Definitely need to hear from yogi John M now that we have TROS. His insights into TLJ helped me so much

Excellent show! Makes me so glad you both enjoyed the film and have found renewed SW mojo. Sad you ran out of time and didn't get to leaks and rumors about what's coming next. By your next show we may have gotten official news about 2022 film and project luminous too

Anyone else’s Patreon app just stop a few minutes after tabbing out/closing phone? Then when you look at the app the show is at the first time stamp you started listening? IOS version

JMac, I think you guys need to discuss what's in this reddit. In my mind, the saga has not been saved, and I think the corporate meddling Jared points out shows artistic compromise at every step sadly. Want to stay positive, but Disney seems like the true villains.
