Ron B. from Ohio

Hey guys, this is North Canton Target Ron. My son and I met Jason and his son there before the Rise of Skywalker hit theaters. I am glad that you guys like The Rise of Skywalker, but I have to say I am more on the side of Sonny from New Orleans. I enjoyed Mr. Marcoux's take on the movie, but it does not fix the overall failure of the sequel trilogy that TROS has made complete. Rey being a Palpatine ruins the entire Skywalker saga and pushes the Skywalkers into the role of supporting characters at best. You don't make six movies about the supporting characters to build up to the real heroes three movies. Palpatine's return was a mistake born of desperation caused by lousy planning by Disney/Lucasfilm from the very start. If Palpatine returns, then the only one to finally defeat him should have been a Skywalker. I am just so sad how the sequel trilogy turned out, I wish it had never been done. It makes me sick to think that Carrie Fisher's final performances were wasted on this rushed, mismanaged, social commentary, mess. I could go on much more about my disappointment, but I think you guys get the idea. Thanks for all the great entertainment you guys provide.
