YES! Each and every RFR Patreon member gets the show FIRST this week! And this is a fun fun fun show! Maybe it's because an entertainment voice-over / Star Wars legend is joining us! Our old buddy, TOM KANE. Superstar. Love you guys...Please stay safe and healthy. Hope you enjoy this week's show!  - JMac

Our CLONE WARS celebration rocks on with yet another core cast member from the classic animated series as the great Tom Kane joins us IN THE CANTINA. A fan-favorite for his work as Jedi Master Yoda among other voices, Tom fills us in with killer insight into his career, the voice acting industry and, of course, the return of THE CLONE WARS. As always, Tom brings his fun spirit to RFR, along with a ton of laughs. Sonny from New Orleans checks in with a controversial take on some footage seen in THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Blu Ray documentary “The Skywalker Legacy”, and we continue to analyze Rey’s hardships and challenges in The Sequel Trilogy, including her “Uggghhh” moment in Ep IX. Plus, Jason spooked his kid with Indiana Jones movies , we talk about the ever-delayed INDIANA JONES V, and Jedi Master Samuel L.”Mace Windu” Jackson has an important message for us as we struggle through Quarantine 2020. Keep Calm and Listen to Rebel Force Radio.

Awesome to see all these clone wars actors come back to RFR and doing interviews! Like old times. Looking forward to checking out the show

Great episode fellas! At the end of the pandemic I’m going to show you some pictures of how the three of us and your guests cleaned and organized my basement over the course of several days. As always, thanks for the positive distraction!

Blake Weaver

Good interview with Tom Kane he sounds like a real cool dude. As far as all this dissection of Rey and the sequel trilogy over the last few weeks it reminds me of this puzzle me and my wife are working on. There’s way too many pieces I have to put together and my head hurts.

Austin Faux

Does anyone else have issues streaming on Patreon? I even download and I can’t listen...I’m in a constant loop

Steven M DuBrey

So, I thought the same thing as Sonny the first time I watched that documentary because of the “antique” filter they put on the J.J. footage right after. I had to go back and watch the old footage again.

Sean W. from Warsaw

So, I'm just dying to ask: Why oh WHY didn't you ask Tom Kane the Yoda Questionnaire?! I thought for sure you'd go to that when you said "We gotta ask you the question." [Dramatic pause] MAN! Lol

Sean W. from Warsaw

I mean, he could've done it in the voice to make it fully legit and everything, maybe even offered his sagely wisdom for additional questions in the future that he's already foreseen. This was a no-brainer! :P

Jonathan Jones

No fan left behind as always, thanks for this great interview. RFR is #1

Regarding the opening of the show, I was an only-child of a single mom growing up in the 80s. My grandparents watched me when she worked. And they had HBO. So I had seen Aliens, Die Hard, and whatever other awesome adult movies there was by age 9. And it made me much more well-versed in films (and life) at a young age. Kids today are protected (sheltered) a lot more. To a fault? Maybe? I don't know--I didn't have kids. One friend's wife said their children had to be 10 before watching Star Wars. It's too late by then. I learned how to read at 4 reading Jaba's subtitles.

Steven M DuBrey

Totally agree. I grew up the same way and I recently asked my Mom about this same type of thing because my daughter was struggling with reading and I took it for granted that I was capable of that. I went into kindergarten reading because of the Legend of Zelda. It was only then I realized that wasn’t normal.

Just getting started with the episode and I can totally relate to Jason’s “dad” moment. It’s tough to remember that 80’s PG movies are nothing like PG movies today. JMac is right that PG-13 came out due to Temple of Doom and Gremlins. I wasn’t a huge fan of Last Crusade when it first came out. In fact, I was disappointed when I left the theater on opening day. However, I’ve grown to love it over the last 30 years.

Got a kick out of Jason's Ghostbusters reference... Calling the test the Jedi Council gave Anakin in EP 1 the "Venkman Test" lol

Eric from Phoenix

Too each their own. My kids couldn’t handle Indiana Jones until they were around 10ish. Star Wars was as soon as they could sit in the theater or watch a video. We took our boys to Revenge of the Sith but made them close their eyes at the Anakin immolation scene. Oldest was only 5 and youngest was 3. Just too little for that.

Eric from Phoenix

Steven - Our middle son learned to read because of GameCube games.

Interesting take by Sonny from New Orleans. I don’t think that footage was fake and agree with JMac. I remember talking about 9 or 12 Star Wars movies back around the time Jedi was released. On a side note. I drove to San Diego to see the Hawkeyes play their bowl game and just west of Yuma there are these awesome sand dunes. I totally thought of Jedi being filmed there as we drove through that area.

Tory

Sometimes. I find closing and reopening the app, or clicking pause and play a few times sometimes kicks it into gear.

Finally watched The Skywalker Legacy documentary on TROS digital release. Wow. Enjoyed it more than the movie. Interesting to see Producer Michelle Rejwan begin to take center stage. Neal Scanlon refusing to embrace the canon alien creatures angers me. First time I cried about Carrie's death the day they began shooting without her. Love that Driver did his own stunts. Watch it if you haven't yet. What else do we have to do?

Donald B Groce

Awesome show guys just awesome. I loved every bit of the Discussion.

Cindy Stephenson

Tom Kane is AMAZING!! Thanks to y’all for bringing him on. I now have his voice in my head. 😂

Jared Cantor

Laughing so much with Tom Kane. He absolutely needs to record himself reading each crawl.

Nick Whenham

Great show as always Jimmy and Jason! Many thanks for keeping us sane during all the weirdness! All the best.

Rebel Force Radio

That’s something we would typically do toward the end of an interview, but we were running pretty long with Tom so we shelved it. Next time for sure!
