Ahsoka has arrived! The motion capture saber duel was stunning and the choreography of those scenes were so well done. And so many story layers. This episode is some of the best Star Wars that has ever been made.

Agreed! I would have never thought it a million years after the way this character was introduced that I would be totally willing to put the character on a Top 5 Favorite Star Wars Characters List. What Ashley has managed to do is just simply amazing. In this episode alone just rewatch it and towards the beginning listen for her delivery of the line, "Come on!". I was like "YES!"

Wow, they are not holding any punches with this final arc! The character moments, the ROTS crossovers, the action. Everything is being done at the highest quality so far.

I just today finished this episode after an entire series binge that started a little over a month ago. There were some clunkers but my goodness the series is pure Star Wars. These last two eps have been better that TROS in my opinion. Filoni needs to be in charge going forward! Also how can they not do an animated movie now? The animation in these new episodes is stunning.

Congrats on the “series binge”. This season’s animation is stunning. The character movements are so smooth and incredibly realistic (just look at the lightsaber battles), and they’ve come so far from those first episodes.

Enjoying these episodes is like being a fan of that band you first discovered in the basement club and seeing them work their way up to play a stadium. Anyone who has been here since the beginning has to look back with pride that they took a shot on an animated show and it paid off.

I watched with my Son, now 19, who was 8 when TCW debuted. He came with me to Philadelphia when I was Captain Rex for Cartoon Network / Lucasfilm for the 501st in 2008. He grew up watching TCW with me. We were just discussing the juxtaposition between TCW movie and these last 2 episodes. WOW! Just WOW! I will say this: The Clone Wars has experienced much more of a hero’s journey than Rey. 😉 Too soon?!

What is supposed to make us believe that was the Armorer with Bo and Ursa? I don’t recall her having any lines. I don’t think we are going to get that tie in though, Filoni has always avoided gratuitous cameos that shrink the universe(unless they came from George).

Apparently Lauren Mary Kim is who did the mo cap for Ahsoka. I don’t recall hearing that name before. It probably has been though because according to an article I just read she was also the stunt double for that one Armorer fight sequence in the Mandalorian. If true she would be a pretty cool RFR guest.

Something that just hit me. What if they do a SW High Republic animation? Or best case what if they did SW Legends animated series so? What EU would you want of Luke?

Star Wars Legends animated would be the smartest thing for them to do. So, naturally, they won't do it. I think it would be insane to launch a High Republic animated series without waiting to see how fans react to the books and comics first. So they probably will do just that.
